砂浜での乗馬は写真撮影の時だけ、海岸脇の平らな歩道をゆっくり散歩するだけでした。景色と海風は気持ち良かったです。馬は大人しいのでほとんど操作することがなく、だだ乗っているだけでした。スタッフは親切でしたし美人さんで素敵だったんですけど、正直・・・乗馬自体は、あまり面白くなかったので乗馬終了後のチップにすごく困りました。初心者向けだと思います。

Doors-Off Paradise Helicopter Tour & Landing from Kapolei [Not Operating]

We had a great experience with Paradise Helicopter. The guide was great and we felt safe throughout the ride. We did a 10 min ride of North Shore and that was good for us as the most fun is taking off and landing. Our 4 yr old son enjoyed it very much. Would def recommend!

Hawaii Polo Oceanfront Trail Rides - North Shore Horseback Riding Sunset Tour

This was our family's first time visiting oahu and the ocean front horse back ride was by far our most favorite and memorable experience. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and the horses are very well cared for (my horse Ike is a retired polo pony). We even had the pleasure of a hawaiian pig named 'wilma' that thinks she's a horse escort our ride. We went on the sunset tour and the landscape is unlike anywhere I have ever seen, so peaceful and breathtaking. Would highly recommend this activity to other families, friends and couples!

North Shore's Best Zipline Tour by CLIMB Works - Oahu’s Longest Zip Course

From the start til the end, it was a non-stop adventure. 3 guides were with us, and we all had a blast! The ATV ride around the farm to get to the platform was fun and educational. They showed us different tropical plants like guava, mango, papaya, banana and so much more. The zipline and the view was just spectacular. I could do it again and again. They even had a rope climbing machine, and my arm is still sore from it! Overall, this was excellent and worth every penny. If you go to the North Shore, you need to put it in your bucket list. Highly recommended!

Hawaii Polo Oceanfront Trail Rides - North Shore Horseback Riding Sunset Tour
A Wonderful Experience

My sister and I have some experince riding horses and were very excited after booking this excursion. When we arrived, it was clear that the horses were well taken care of. The guides, Sarah and Gina, were amazing!! They were very alert and attentive to those who had never ridden before, were informative about the island, answered all of our questions and they were sure to get us to the sunset view in time. Safety was a first priority and Sarah and Gina were very aware of taking great pictures of all of us. The only suggestion I have is that booking this excursion requires a car. We took the bus to the last stop on the route then had to walk three miles to the polo club which was fine on the way in but we had to hitch a ride on the way back because it was after dark and we were not comfortable walking back to the bus stop.
Thank you for your kind feedback! We are delighted to hear that had a great experience. Apologies for having to take the bus...we are in the country and there's not much public transportation by us. We usually recommend renting a car and making a day of it on the north shore. Just glad you made it back safe.

Hawaii Shark Encounters - North Shore Shark Cage Diving Tour from Haleiwa

Could not have been better; we specifically chose this shark encounter since they book fewer people on the boat and it was just what I had in mind. We had 10 total on the boat. The captain and mate were both knowledgeable and professional but definitely made it fun. Took a few extra minutes to show us the whales also. Highly recommend these guys.

とにかく素晴らしい景色に感動です。さすがに2時間だと後半はお尻が痛くなります。笑

Oahu North Shore Beach Horseback Riding Experience - Daytime Tours

Our guides were great, they were Sarah and a lovely red head from CO, I don't remember her name.
I have always wanted to ride a horse on, on, a beach, not near one, not within view of, on a beach. Splashing in the water. This ride was not on a beach and should not be advertised as such.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your tour guides and our apologies you were so disappointed about not being able to go in the water with your horse. It is illegal in the state of Hawaii to take livestock of any kind in the ocean so we go as close as we legally can to the water. I can assure you that we do take the horses on the sand /beach so you were not mislead.

Our tour of the island was very enjoyable. Very happy to see the Pineapples growing, and the lay of the land. The guides were prompt and the guide at the Centre, was especially polite. (Congrats to them, too, for indicating they do not except tips.) We visited three villages but I've done these without a guide and on my own, saw all six villages in the time he took us to three. I know time is spent gathering people and passing out leis and explaining procedures, but this did detract from what we could experience. I would suggest that at the Center, folks are given the option to go with the guide or go on their own. The luau and HA - Breath of Life show are phenomenal!! We had half a house for the audience and I was so impressed with the quality of singing and dancing, of the performers, that I started the standing ovation. Those students really deserve our appreciation!!

North Shore Private Sunset Horseback Riding & Campfire Dinner at Gunstock Ranch

Our guide was Greg. He was so sweet and genuine. As we trailed he would give us some history on the names of the cities surrounding the ranch, the different boarding houses for the various horses on the land and we saw roaming cattle and goats. A few roosters and chicken also. The girls really enjoyed themselves on the trail being surrounded by nature here. As we rode uphill and finally reached our camp, you smelled the campfire and saw a breath taking view of the ocean. The sight is amazing! The meal was strip steak, tempura shrimp, rice and mac salad. It was so delicious! And you roasted your own marshmallows for s'mores! As we rode down toward the valley, again you could see the elevation and beautiful land surrounding this huge ranch. This was our second sunset ride@ Gunstock and we will be returning again.

ノースの広～い牧場、心地良い風に吹かれて、のんびりと馬の背に揺られてきました！！
空の青色、白い雲、牧草のみどり色、森の深緑色、海の水色、眩しい太陽の日差し、鮮やかな景色が目に焼きつくだけでなく、抜群の解放感で精神的にリフレッシュでき、ホント良かったです。
言葉は英語のみですが、あまり英語が得意でない日本人の私達にフレンドリー且つ、ゆっくり優しく話してくれ、スタッフの方はアットホームで親切でした。
ほんわかオーラに包まれ、非常に楽しくリラックスした時間を過ごせますので、ぜひお勧めです。＾＾

不思議なドライバー。忘れられた参加者、そして事故、それを見てからフライ！

１０名ほどの混載で行きました。だいたい日本人、あと韓国人もいたかな。
ドライバーさんは、御年７０過ぎのおじいさんでした。悪い人ではないんだろうけど、バスの中では、自分がスカイダイビングをして載った（自身で投稿？）地域のコミュニティー新聞みたいなやつを回覧させられ、生い立ちからスピリチュアル？みたいな宇宙の話、地球温暖化の話、等と正直何言ってるのか全くわかりませんでした。あの話はいらないです。
そして到着し、他のみなさんは講習を受けてはセスナに乗り込み、どんどん降下してこられていました。しかし、私たちは（私は飛ばなかったので同行者が）なぜか忘れられ、９時に到着したのに、セスナ出発は１１時過ぎになりました。（他の人たちは１０時前には全て終えていた。）
他の参加者が飛び終え、後から来た人もどんどん飛び終え、これは忘れられているのでは？と思い、時々、ドライバーのおじいさんに、「まだですか？」と聞いていましたが「順番だから」「まだかかるみたい」などと言って待たされ、ドライバーさんも、受付の人に聞きに行ってくれれば良いのに、それもなかなかせず。１時間半ほど経ったころにようやく聞きに行ってくれ、「書類が違うところに回されていたみたい」とか言われました。要は忘れられていたと。やっぱり黙っててはダメですね。こんなことなら自分で受付に聞きに行けば良かったです。
そうこうしてボーっと待っているところに、「ドン！」という音とともに、スタッフ達の「Oh No!」や「Emergency！」とかいう声。そして草むらに倒れる人。そしてやってきた救急車。ビックリしました。結局は上空からパラシュートが開かずに落ちたのではなく、最後の着地に失敗し、ちょっと落ちた？みたいなことだったようです。でも詳しくわからないし、本当に怖かったです。３０分くらいは倒れた状態から動かなかったし、スタッフもザワザワしていたし。結局、落ちた人は救急車に乗らず、その人の同行者が運転する自家用車で帰って行ったので、それほどの怪我ではなかったようです。でも、そんなんを見てから飛ぶなんて楽しみではなく恐怖ですよね。
ドライバーさんがちょっとアレな人。現地ではさんざん待たされ、そして事故を目の当たりにし、それによって更に待たされ、ようやく飛べたものの、天候はあまりよくないとのことで、最高高度を希望していましたが高度を下げられ（これは仕方がないことです）良い思い出は空の上だけです。
あと、雲が多いということで、高度を下げることになったから３０ドル返金してもらったのですが、それも、自分で受付に言いに行かないと返金しないシステムだったので、そこも不満です。言いに行かなければ返金しないなんておかしいですよね。現地は小さな事務所で、お客さんも１０人もいないくらいで把握しきれないわけでもないのに。
そしてそんなこんなで、あまりにも長時間待たされたので帰り際に受付に苦情を言いに行きましたが、さすが日本とは違いますね。本当に謝らない！書類が届くのが遅かったとか、書類が手違いで違うところに行っていたとか、天候がー、とかとか。あんまり英語も話せないので、言いたいことの半分も言えなかったのがくやしいです。言い訳ばっかりでした。自分は悪くないと。ドライバーさんは、自分は書類を提出したが受付が間違ったと言い張るし、受付は自分のせいじゃないと言うし。
そしてようやくワイキキに戻る時、ドライバーさんが言った「今日はいろんなトラブルがあったからね、ちょっと遅くなったけどねー。ハイすみませんでした。」という言葉に、もうツアー参加者全員沈黙でしたね。その言い方。。。
そしてその後、携帯電話で本部みたいなところに電話し、「問題なく終わりましたー。」という脳天気な報告にもイラッとしました。
ドライバーさんの意味不明な話。他の人たちは飛び終えてからの待ち時間、私たちは飛ぶ前の待ち時間。事故。申告しないと返金しないシステム。そして謝らない姿勢。
疲れました。
グアムでスカイダイブしたときは講習からすべてに至るまで素晴らしいサポートだったのになぁ。。

North Shore Hiking Tours from Haleiwa with Expert Local Guide & Lunch
Educational, Cultural, & Beautiful!!!

I have hiked many of the popular attractions here on Oahu like Diamond Head, Manoa Falls, and Koko Head, but they have nothing as elegant as what the Huakai Iki hike has. We booked our tour, and was informed that the check in location is at the Aloha General Store. We were greeted by our wonderful guides Keola and Holly. We started venturing off on the private roads owned by Kamehameha Schools, Bishop Estate. We had excellent views of the agricultural land, the coastline of Haleiwa, the mountain ranges of both the Ko'olaus and Waianae! We had learned so much Hawaiian historical facts, such as endemic versus native species of plants and animals, special trees and plants such as the Koa tree, ohia lehua, and the strawberry guava tree. Keola and Holly are excellent guides! The one thing that I highly valued is that you can ask them anything! They will tell you if they know about it, and if they don't they will either call you or email me and give you the answer! Many other tour guides on other hikes, tend to come up with excuses, or falsified facts. But not Keola or Holly. We had great views of the swimming pools (water ponds), nice high clouds, and wonderful native plants. This is the best hiking tour that I have been on by far. I will definitely go out with north Shore Eco Tours again, for their Huakai Nui Hike! Mahalo Keola & Holly!

This is the Way to See the North Shore!

I learned a lot about the history of the North Shore on this tour and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Our guides Keola and Holly were knowledgeable in Hawaiian history and culture. They have exclusive access to this trail and I highly recommend going on this tour as you will not get the chance to see the North Shore like this with anyone else. It was a real treat for me. I appreciated that Keola asked for permission to enter the hiking trail in a traditional way.The hike itself was wonderful. We saw a lovely lehua blossom on the trail! The area is home to a number of rare native trees that I will leave to you to figure the name of. This hike is not for people who are out of shape. You will get a workout on the hike! If you appreciate learning about Hawaiian culture with legitimate information shared, the natural beauty of the North Shore, and to spend a day of your vacation in nature, this hike is for you. Way better than a luau!

The Surf Bus North Shore Fun Tour - Snorkel, Bike, Kayak, SUP & Waimea Waterfall

The concept is great. Transport is reliable, clean and on time. The tour guide, Harry, was entertaining and very friendly. The only thing we would suggest is that surfing be offered as one of the activities - it is after all what the area is best known for!
I would recommend this for anyone who wants an active day.
Thank you for the great review, surfing is offered to those with prior experience with our basic package.For the unexperienced folks we require they book the package which includes the "SURF LESSON". We are sorry if that wasn't explained thoroughly by Harry and will have to talk to him about that.

I defenitely recommend that tour to everyone who visits Oahu for the first time and wants to see as much as possible! I rented a car for the time after to visit my favorite spots again! Our bus driver Ed was so funny and taught us some Hawaiian words and about the history and culture! Definitely worth it! DO IT AND GO ON THAT TOUR!!!

He was so friendly and knowledgeable about Oahu, and explained all the sights on the way to the North Shore - he make the entire trip an awesome experience. He gave us a drive by & quick stop at each of the available activities before we chose them, then dropped us all to our chosen areas. 3 of us chose bike riding along the famous surfing beaches where we could stop and have beach time as we liked; the other 3 the walk through the beautiful gardens to the waterfall. Though a lovely walk, it is quite a long one, for anyone older. If you want a swim at the Falls, take cash for a compulsory life jacket hire! From there we walked back to Waimea Bay beach for a swim until our bus pick up. Our next activity for 4 of us was SUP (stand up paddle boarding) and 2 did kayaking. We LOVED this time on the water and would have liked to have a bit less time on the morning activities and more time for the afternoon ones! After, we walked through the town and sampled the Shaved Ice and some delicious lunch before boarding the bus completely satisfied with our day. We did several different tours while in Waikiki, and this was BY FAR the very best for the sightseeing, and activities on offer, plus the freedom to have our own time was fantastic. We were REALLY impressed with Sam the driver & happy to tip him well for his outstanding service - he contributed in a big way to making it the best tour during our time in Hawaii. Thank you Sam! I would highly recommend this tour, well worth it and we have great memories of our day.

Ultimate Oahu Circle Island Guided Nature Tour & Waimea Waterfall with Lunch
Great Oahu Tour

This Circle Island tour was terrific. Our guide, Dai Mar, was very knowledgeable about Oahu, the islands in general, and the places we visited. We saw the North Shore and spent time at the Banzai Pipeline, we visited Waimea Falls after a nice stroll/hike with lots of info about the area and the flora/fauna, we ate at Fumi's Shrimp Truck, and we stopped at a Macadamia farm/shop. It was fun, relaxed, and I learned a lot, plus the views were fantastic!

Magnum Doors-Off Helicopter Tour - Oahu Island Scenic Flight from Honolulu

I have had many rides on helicopters and this was the best. Never rode one with no door. My daughter and myself felt it was one of the best things we have done in our lifetime. The pilot was fantastic and having riden with the Sheriffs department as on observer several times in years past he ranks number one. What a smooth and exciting ride. I am telling all my family and friends to check out your service before anyone else when they come over to Hawaii. I will take another ride on my next trip back in the months ahead.

it was worth it

even though i dont have any horseback riding experience before, i was truly enjoyed it. Beautiful horses are pretty well trained. No worries even for beginners.. plus, a staff was accompanied us on a horse, checking any possible problems back and forth.
