Everyone who visits Honolulu needs to go Pearl Harbor. We learned so much about that moment in history...how it happened...why we weren't able to stop it. And it was very meaningful to remember the lives of those who were lost and all that they stood for. We had a toddler with us and it was a good experience for all of us.

We really enjoyed this tour. Definitely rent the audio recording of the Pearl Harbor exhibit once you get to the Pearl Harbor visitor center. It greatly enhanced the experience. After Pearl Harbor we toured the USS Missouri. What an experience! The tour guide we had on the USS Missouri was great at verbally drawing pictures and explaining what it was like when the Japanese surrendered. Doing both the Pearl Harbor (USS Arizona) and the USS Missouri tours was great because you got to see what marked the beginning and the end of war.

This was the best trip I ever took and I have been to the Islands 4 times. Our guide Hana was excellent and really knew his history, He made the trip so enjoyable that I would recommend it to anyone and tell them to ask they be put on Hana's bus. The whole trip was awesome. We stopped at Pearl Harbor then on to Dole Plantation and from there the bus ride was enjoyable and cool. Lunch was good! I would take this tour again.

My sister & I enjoyed being on a small tour (ten people plus our guide) as it served as an intimate way of getting to know eachother. Our guide, Lani was wonderful. Lani's secret plan for the best viewing of the Arizona Memorial worked out perfectly. Overall, for the Circle Island tour, Lani had an excellent knowledge of Hawaii and its culture. We loved her stories, her unique laugh & her choice of Hawaiian music.

The driver was funny and pointed out all the interesting sights and details. The tour itself was good. It was our first day on the island and a great chance to see things without getting lost. We took time later to visit some places again, but had the history (as presented by our driver) to help us understand it all. Thanks for a great tour!!

This is a great "can't miss" tour....second time for the parents, first time for the kids. We learned a ton about the island and the culture....and our kids are still bringing up points they learned on the tour. Ask for Ken to be your driver....he's TERRIFIC!! He "teaches" by telling "stories"...and this "stuck" with our kids. They thought he was very entertaining and retained much of what they heard b/c of his "stories". Enjoy the sights!!

Great staff, but the tourists got restless. The stops and amount of time allowed to visit was tight. I would suggest the company cut out some of the smaller "extras" part of the tour. It was worth the money spent, but we had cruise ship tourists with us and it made it more stressful trying to rush thorugh everything.

We were picked up at a hotel very near ours, easy to find. We had a large comfortable bus. The bus driver provide great commentary during the drive to the Arizona. The Arizona memorial is always awesome. This is my third time, my families first. Great video presentation and museum prior to the boat ride.
Tour of the City afterwards was great and we took the option to be dropped off at Hilo Hatties. Great Hawaiian Store.
Thanks!

What an amazing tour this was. They first take you out to Pearl Harbor where the war was started and you watch the movie about the start of the war, and then you take a boat trip out the memorial which tugs at the heart strings. After pearl Harbor they take you out to USS Missouri where the war ended. You can even see the spot where the surrender was signed. We ate lunch there in the galley, neat experience. Finally we stopped at punchbowl cemetery and looked around. We got some incredible views of the City. Finally they took us on a small sightseeing tour of the city with some fun stories about the history. Great tour! I loved every minute.

WOrds cannot explain this activity. My wife and I took a vacation to Hawaii as our yearly get away, no special occasion. I served in the military so this was a must for me to go experience. It was recommended for us to arrive early at pearl harbor. It's true that there is a massive line but I recommend that you go a little later than 6am because the line moves pretty quick. Let me explain the process because I did not see anyone mention it. The memorial opens at 7am and people enter inside the welcome center and get a card with a # on it, which puts you in a group. I estimate the group to be about 50 people. After that time, you just roam around the welcome center until your group # is called. Then you stand in line to go into a theater where you will see ACTUAL footage from the war and it's very touching and heart stopping. After that, you go outside to the water taxi (boat) which takes you out to the actual memorial. you can just feel the mood there. Some people can be disr

We were not happy at being forced to eat at a particular place at the golf resort. Food was a little pricey. The mandatory tipping that they added to our bill was ridiculous. They know that they are guarenteed a tip, so they never came back to check on us. Everyone at our table felt the same way. Also, their computer that printed out the food bill was "down". No one was able to see their detailed food bill. Maybe consider other food stops other than the one you do. Other than the food stop, they tour went well.

We found the individual island depictions to be very informative and entertaining. The students of the university do a wonderful job providing incite to their native lands. The Canoe Pagent was wonderful. The luau was less than we anticipated. The entertainment was very good but the food was little more than a buffet meal. The night time Horizons show was spectacular just as advertized. We were really impressed with the Samoan knife and fire dancing. He was very entertaining.
