My family and I were all first time ATV riders and had a great experience with the Kualoa 1-hour ATV ride. We would definitely recommend it to others and hopefully we will be able to do it again...this time maybe the 2-hour ride!

My husband and I are first time visitors to Hawaii and wanted to see some of the beautiful sights but also wanted something laid back. This was the perfect thing to do. Coming from Waikiki Beach we ended up renting a convertible for the day and it was a beautiful drive up the coast. We got there a little early and found several treasures in the gift shop. There were riders with a varied range of experience in our group (including a first timer or two) and a great time was had by all. We opted for the 2 hour tour and definitely recommend it. The back side of the mountain was a little more challenging but still quite safe and great fun. The views were fabulous and there were several photo opportunities including some of the tv/movie locations, our guides even picked some guava from the trees which was a lovely treat. Make sure you heed their warning about wearing long pants as there is quite a bit of heat coming out of the ATV around your legs after a while and closed-toed shoes a

MY HUSBAND AND I HAD A LOT OF FUN IN THE 2 HOUR TOUR.
IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL OUT THERE, THE VIEWS WERE GREAT.
THE ATV'S WERE SUPER FUN TO DRIVE!

TOWARDS THE END OF THE TOUR, THEY TOOK US FOR A SWEEET RIDE.... IT WAS GOOD TIMES!

WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK!

The BEST time I had in Hawaii

This was my absolute favorite activity that I did in Hawaii. My husband and I were there for two weeks and did a lot and the ATV tour was by FAR our favorite.

The views from valley were unlike anything I had ever seen. If your looking for something to take your breath away Kualoa Ranch is where it's at. While there it was raining, which made it more fun. On that side of the island it rains a bit so be prepared for it. I believe they have ponchos there if you want them. But my hubby and I didn't and we got soaked which was fine by us.

Driving around in the ATVs was exciting. It was my hubby's first time riding one and he had a little trouble. But the instructors were friendly and took him under their wing a bit. After the two hours of amazing views and seeing all the wildlife they took us too a little field and let just drive around which was a lot of fun.

I will do this again on my next trip for sure.

Fantastic Tour!

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Coming from the Midwest, I have rode an ATV before but my boyfriend had done very little riding. You definitely do not need any prior experience in ATV riding to do this tour. We had a great guide whom was very informative and spectacular views with a little dirt and mud along the way. Don't wear your nicest clothes and definitely wear jeans and closed toed shoes as you will get dirty! This tour is definitely worth the money!

my boyfriend and i registered for the one hour atv adventure. the staff was friendly and informative. we got too stop at "scenic points" to take pictures, and we even got to see where some movies were filmed. recommended for all levels of atv riders. the only complaint was -- wish it were longer, provided transportation, and my boyfriend wanted to go Faster!

乗馬は以前からとてもしてみたかったので、今回思い切って参加してみました。クアロア牧場の景色は絶景で、まるでわたしも映画のワンシーンにいるようでした。乗馬は初めてで、馬の大きさにビビっていましたが、私には一番おとなしく優しい馬がわりあてられました。(馬はスタッフの方がその人に合った体型、性格のうまを選んでくれます。私はすごく怖がっていたので、性格のおとなしい馬になったのだと思います。)私がのったヴェリーちゃんは本当お利口さんでとってもかわいくて2時間の乗馬のうちにすっかり仲良しになりました。一緒に参加した友達のクッキーちゃんも、チャコちゃんもとってもおとなしく、お利口さんで可愛かったです。
片言の日本語で簡単なたずなの説明でいきなり乗馬だったのでびっくりしましたが、馬はおとなしくすぐ安心できました。絶対に2時間コースをお勧めします。（きっと1時間ではものたりないのでは.....）と、必ず長ズボンとスニーカー。2時間コースは昼過ぎから夕方にかけてなので長袖のはおりものもあるといいかと思います。

着いたその日の午後、15時からの乗馬2時間コースに9月17日参加しました。結婚式＋新婚旅行で夫婦共々初めてのハワイです。着いたその日を無駄にしたくなくて見つけたツアーがこれでした。馬に初めて乗る主人は言葉もわからないので不安がっておりましたが、馬が誘導してくれるので初めての人でも大丈夫ですよ。私は多少英語が話せたので様々な話が聞けて楽しかったです。お尻は痛くなりますが、こんな道を通るの？ってところを馬は進みます。途中で動物も出てきたりします。風と木々が揺れる音の中に身を置くってあまり経験できないことですよね。海や緑がとにかくキレイでした。待ち時間も飽きることなく、犬や猫に豚がいたので遊んでました。言葉は多少日本語の話せるスタッフもいるので安心です。送迎があるのは非常に有難いですね。Shopには最近話題の海外ドラマ『LOST』のフィギュアとかがあったりします。バッグを身につけて馬には乗れませんので預けるようになります。貴重品を身につける外から見えない腹巻バッグみたいなモノがあったら良かったかもと思いました。途中のポイントで写真も撮ってくれます。先日ハワイ在住の友人からここの牧場で結婚式を挙げたご夫婦がいたと聞きました。それ位、素敵なところです。1日ツアーじゃないと行けない場所もあるようなのでまた参加したいねと主人と言ってた程です♪

We visited Kualoa Ranch 5 years ago and had so much fun that we decided to visit the ranch again during our honeymoon this year to do the ATV tour again. We are happy to say that the 2nd time was even better than the first! We opted for the 2-hour ATV tour which was VERY fun and well worth the money. You may get a little dirty but the ranch and sights are BEAUTIFUL and you'll get a kick out of the movie sets (like Jurassic Park). If you're staying in the "concrete jungles" of Honolulu/Wakiki, you definitely will enjoy the nature and serenity of Kualoa Ranch.

私と18歳の息子とその友達2人の4人で参加しました。
もっと思いっきり疾走できるのかと思っていましたが、時速15キロくらいでゆっくりのんびり走る・・といった感じでした。
でも、参加者全員の安全を考えているので仕方ないかなと
いった感じです。
それよりもクアロア牧場の壮大な景色に圧倒、感動です。
スタッフは片言の日本語を話す方でしたが、こちらも少しは話せるのでコミュニケーションには何ら問題なく、親切にしていただきました。

とても楽しかったです。また参加したいと思います。

my boyfriend and I went on the 2-hour ATV tour. It was both our first time riding an ATV and we sure had A LOT OF FUN!!! We wanted to see the film sites and we got to see a lot more! Our tour guide (susan) was friendly, had great stories, and had a lot of energy. She showed us breathless views of oahu that just makes you want to stay a little bit longer. Thanks Kualoa Ranch!!

Tame Horseback Ride @ Kualoa Ranch

We did the 2-hour horseback ride at Kualo Ranch which is beautiful and and our guide was great. Our guide pointed out all the sites that numerous TV shows and movies were shot at and provided us myriad information about the ranch and Oahu in general. We took a lot of great pictures. I would recomend this tour for anyone including first time riders interested in a very tame tour of the ranch. There were childern and older folks on our tour. If however you're looking for an exciting ride, this isn't it. We never moved faster than a walk, not a fast walk either, I think my horse fell asleep at one point. Our guide explained that they used to trot the horses and run in the open fields but there were too many injuries. That's too bad becuase this could have been a great overall tour rather than just an enjoyable tour. By the way, the 4-wheelers go no faster on the ranch then the horses. We saw the guides riding their 4-wheelers side saddle and of course you can't hear anything on

一昨年クアロア牧場で２種選べるコースで乗馬をしました。先頭の馬に乗っていて後続が遅くなったときに先に行っていていいよと言われ馬にお任せであのジュラシックパークの撮影舞台になった雄大な景色の中をひとりで進んだのが忘れられず、今回は２時間を希望。
一緒に行った主人はバギーに乗り乗馬は日本人は一人だけ。
今回は最後尾でしたが近くについてくれたスタッフの女性はやさしくてきれい、何の不安もありません。
ワイキキのホテルからの送迎も日本人は私たちだけ、運転している方も日本語は全く使いませんが、送迎の車はＫｕａｌｏａの文字が入っていますので集合場所ですぐわかりますし大丈夫。
馬はお利口に列になって進みますので馬上で写真を撮ったり、景色を見たりできます。荷物はロッカーに預けなくてはなりません。カメラは首から下げたほうがいいかも。現地で申込用紙にサインして年齢も書くのですが私だけ抜群に年上で自分でも笑ってしまいました。
２時間はあっという間に過ぎ夢のような時間でしたがちょっとお尻は痛くなりました。

クアロア牧場2時間コース(送迎付き）に参加してきました。　
　10人くらいの中、日本人は私たち二人だけでした。
　観光乗馬は初めてだったし、ウエスタンスタイルの乗馬も初めてだったので、少し不安でしたが、とてもよく調教されている馬だったので、全然問題なかったです。
　ただ本当に観光乗馬です。なので、当然駈歩や速歩などありません。雄大な景色を眺めながら、ひたすら常歩です。
だから乗馬経験者には、物足りないかもといった感じでした。
　
　スタッフの方は、アメリカ人が多いと、残念ですがそちらの方の応対に重点を置かれます。まあ話が弾むのだから、仕方ないとは思いますが・・・
　お天気にも恵まれ、のんびりとした気持ちで馬に乗るには、いいかと思います。

娘と二時間の乗馬を楽しみました。簡単な説明の時、馬は生き物なので１００％安全とはいえないと言われ、少し不安になりましたが、大自然の中、自分で手綱を操りながら進むのは、とても楽しかったです。馬にも個性があり、何度止めさせても草を食べる子がいたり、私の乗ったブラッキーは歩く速度がおそく、二、三度スタッフに引っ張られました。坂道を一生懸命のぼる姿はけなげで可愛かったです。さすがに二時間終えた後はお尻が痛かったけれど、参加して大満足でした。

結論から言うと、大満足の体験でした！家族三人(全て２０代)での参加でした。三人ともバギーは初めてで緊張のテスト走行で、一人だけいきなりのコースアウトをしてしまったもののなんとか全員失格にはならず…ガイドの方も私達に合わせてゆっくり進んでくれ、常にこちらに気を配ってくれており、安心でした。走行中の景色は本当に素晴らしく、見とれていると走行に支障が出る可能性アリ、です。一人は、運転に必死で景色を見ている余裕はなかった、といっておりました。私達は二時間コースだったのですが、かなりゆったりとしたスピードでしたし、休憩時間もたっぷりとってもらったので、１時間コースを２時間で走ったのだと思います。次回も必ず２時間コースを申し込みたいと思います！初めての方でも本当にオススメですよ！ただ、車やバイクの運転経験がまったくない方は、慣れるのがかなり難しい、かも？参加できて良かったと、心から思えるツアーでした。

The ATV ride was great! The views and the landscape were killer! Keep in mind this is not an extreme sports type of activity. It was a scenic ride. You will have a guide that leads you through the entire tour. It was definitely worth the money and I will do it again next time I am in Hawaii.

２時間の乗馬でしたがあっという間でした。最初は馬をコントロールできるかと緊張していましたがそんな心配はまったくいりませんでした。というのも馬がとてもよく訓練されていてインストラクターの口笛で歩調を速めたりきちんと列になって歩いてくれて前の馬についていってくれます。コントロールする必要はまったくありませんでした。かえって馬のほうが変な指示を出されて迷惑だったでしょう。
慣れてくると周りを見る余裕が出てきてジュラシックパークなどの撮影されたところとシーンを教えてくれます。
基本的に英語ですが、日本人を見ると日本語で指示したほうがいいか聞いてくれます。言葉の心配は大丈夫でしょう。
素晴らしい自然に囲まれてきっとまた別の観点でハワイが好きになるでしょう。
