I highly recommend the tour and I will definitely return to Lanai. This was my favorite adventure during my stay in Maui.

Lanai Island 4x4 SUV tour
Reviewed by: Tracie, 2024/10/17Josh was our guide and did an awesome job taking us around the island. We stopped at a coffee shop and got a delicious pastry and then proceed to tour the island. Josh was full of stories about growing up on the island which we all enjoyed hearing. We went to everything on the list and then went into the small town and ate lunch. It was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour. It was our favorite thing we did on the during our stay on Maui.
The only thing we would do differently is come back on the afternoon ferry instead of waiting for the 5:30 ferry. Again, it was a fantastic time!

Maui All Stars Stargazing Tour & Haleakala National Park Sunset Experience
Unforgettable
Reviewed by: Carlos Ambrosio, 2024/10/10Whether you like sunrise or sunset is personal, I do prefer sunsets: colors are more intense and after that the night comes with a zillion stars, a wondrous show magnified by the purity of the air.
Yoshi, the man from Maui All Stars, in charge of the tour is a courteous man and also a passionate astronomer. He does everything to make you feel comfortable: chairs, blankets, tea, cookies and a powerful Meade telescope that will bring you amazing views of moon and the stars.
What I want to point out is the importance of doing this with someone who loves what he's doing.
Unforgettable moment!

Half Day Trekker Tour on 9/26/24

He was very knowledgable on the island, inhabitants, customs, shops, restaurants and used personal stories to make this experience enjoyable by all. I would definitely recommend this tour and our tour guide Josh. On a side note, we were able to enjoy this experience. with another couple in which the husband worked the pineapple fields back in the 70's when he was 15 years old on a school reference. It was great seeing Lanai through his eyes and hearing about his time back in the day.

Maui All Stars Stargazing Tour & Haleakala National Park Sunset Experience
An enjoyable experience even with clouds
Reviewed by: Deb, 2024/09/23The evening of our tour wasn't the best as the clouds wouldn't leave the top of Mt. Haleakala. So, we didn't see the sunset nor the stars. Yoshi did take us to to other locations as we descended Haleakala and FINALLY the stars could be seen. We viewed the heavenlies for at least 30 minutes if not more. What fun!! And Yoshi provided us with coats and blankets to keep us warm. The donuts and hot coffee and tea was appreciated as well. It was a fun evening.

Amazing!
Reviewed by: Jess, 2024/09/18Our stargazing tour with Yoshi was an experience we won't forget! Yoshi was very knowledgeable about Haleakala and so many stars and constellations. He made sure that our tour had an ideal, not crowded spot for the sunset and stargazing (despite the large crowds in other areas). He provided hot tea, warm jackets, and chairs for viewing, and made sure that each person got a chance to gaze through his telescope while he pointed out constellations and planets. He also had very convenient pickup/drop-off locations. We would definitely recommend it!

Lanai half day trek with ferry ride.
Reviewed by: Mike and Damaris , 2024/09/08Lanai and Lanai City remind me of a Hawaiian version of Mayberry. Everyone knows one another and the slower pace and smaller scale was refreshing and brought back memories of my own childhood. Our guide, Joshua was a native and we enjoyed talking about the island, the State of Hawaii, and the state of the current political situation.
The wife and I enjoyed ourselves as we trekked across old pineapple fields seeing quail, turkeys, pheasant and deer. Their "Garden of the Gods" was a trip to a Martian landscape and afforded us a great view of Molokai. My only gripe is that we ran out of time and I wanted to see more.

Reviewed by: あさだ, 2024/09/07当日は台風一過で天候にも恵まれ、また新月だったこともあり星空観察には最高の日でした。山頂までに度々休憩を挟んでいただいたおかげで高山病にもならず、絶景を思う存分楽しむことができました。360°星空が見渡せる穴場スポットへ連れて行っていただき、星座を星座として認識できた感動はひとしおでした。スーパーでのおすすめ情報や山頂での温かいお茶など、やまぴーさんのお気遣い・お人柄が素晴らしく、海外でこのようなおもてなしを受けるとは思ってもみませんでした。今回のマウイ島旅行で一番の思い出となりました。また違う季節に参加してみたいです。ありがとうございました！

An Unforgettable Haleakalā Sunset Experience with an Outstanding Guide

Yoshi, our guide, was incredibly friendly and professional—one of the best we've ever had. We appreciated the seamless pick-up and drop-off service, and Yoshi made the long ride enjoyable with his great conversation. He's also perfectly bilingual in English and Japanese, which was a huge plus.
The view from the Haleakalā summit and the experience of watching the sunset were beyond words. We loved every moment of it and wouldn't hesitate to do it again!

Once in a lifetime experience

絶景！絶景！絶景！
Reviewed by: クッキー, 2024/08/16雲の上からの素晴らしいサンセット、触れそうな星空、全てが言葉にはできない絶景で、大満足でした。山頂はビジターもたくさん来てますが少し離れた絶景スポットをこのツアーで占領。ゆったりとポケ丼を食べながらサンセットから星空を思う存分鑑賞することができました。3000メートルまで行くので、途中休憩を取りながらゆっくり登って行ってくれます。このツアーなら足腰弱くなっても行けそうかなあと思いました。写真の撮り方もたくさん教わり、絶景写真やタイムラプスも撮れました！
サンライズとどちらにするか、迷ってましたが、こちら絶対おすすめです。何より山Pさんのホスピタリティや楽しいお話や、温かい飲み物まで準備してくださるお心遣いにも感動しました･:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+

We visited Lanai City, Shipwreck Beach, Garden of the Gods, the Cat Sanctuary, and stopped for beautiful photo opps around the island. 2-Hour Horseback Riding Tour at Circle M Ranch - Mountain Trail with Ocean Views
We loved our horseback riding tour

ツアーの間終始やまぴーさんの心遣いが心地よく、本当に楽しくサンセットと星空を鑑賞できました。
絶景を眺めながらのポケ丼も最高でした。
マウイ島の事もたくさん教えてくださり、その後の旅行のヒントになりました。
またマウイに行く時はぜひ参加したいです。

Reviewed by: T Chalfe, 2024/07/14We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Yoshi was knowledgeable and a fantastic guide. There are coats and blankets to use once you are at the top. Yoshi sets up chairs, takes pictures, provides hot tea or coffee and donuts, and does just the right amount of talking that provides information without disturbing your time to enjoy the whole experience. A packed dinner is necessary although we made a stop at the Kula Marketplace where food was available to purchase before getting to Haleakala. We are so glad we did this tour!!!

途中フードランドでポキいろいろ種類紹介して頂いてツアー後ホテルで食べて美味しかった
ハレヤカラ山到着してからも壮大な景色にワクワク
特別な場所でイス設置して頂いて
夕日を見て空の色が変わりオレンジ ブルー グリーン素敵でした
日が暮れて星空待つ間も空のグラデーション今でも思い出せます
しばらく待っての星空 こんなに星☆あるの？とビックリの満天の星 天体望遠鏡でいろいろな星座教えて頂いて感動でした 滞在時期 南十字星が見えるグッドタイミング 夜空で星との撮影も感動
思い出のアルバム作成しています
夫とは何度もハワイに行ってますが
今回初めてハワイに行く方と一緒だったので本当に感動されていました

期待以上のツアー

ところが、時間に余裕があると思いPaiaに行ったため、ツアーの集合時間に間に合わなくなってしまったのです。途方に暮れていたところ、ガイドのヤマピーさんから連絡があって途中で拾ってもらうことができました。感謝感謝です！
山頂からの夕日と星空は想像を超えた美しさでした。南十字星まで見えたのにはビックリです。
ヤマピーさんに助けていただいたり、、星の事をいろいろ教えてもらったり、すばらしい経験でした。ありがとうございました。
