We had a very nice time learning about and experiencing the Hawaiian culture. The staff was very nice and tended to our every needs. Our favorite part was the fire show. Drinks and food were very yummy!

My fiancé and I took the ferry to get away for the day and it was so beautiful over on lanai! Ferry ride was easy and spacious. Be sure to wear sunscreen if you sit up top!

Easy ride over to Lanai

It was a great ride! If you want to sit on top of the ferry and get a good view, be sure to get there early. We saw lots of whales on our way back from Lanai! Take a Dramamine if you get a little motion sickness and you won’t have any issues. The ferry was spacious and super easy to book online. We will definitely be going back to lanai using this service!

Maui Kayaks West Maui Whale Watching Tour & Reef Snorkel [Jan - Mar]

The tour guide took us into the ocean beyond the cruise ship (as in the picture below). We saw whales and heard a whale singing from under the Kayaks. Most beautiful experience. I’m not a pro at kayaking, but the guide was always looking out to keep us up with the more avid kayakers. He had all the answers to our questions. Could not snorkel that day as the water was murky. Had a wonderful time. I would do it all over again given the chance.

Quicksilver Lanai Snorkeling Cruise & Dolphin Encounter with Meals [May-Oct]

The experience was fantastic! We saw dolphins and whales on our way to the snorkeling destination. We saw sea turtles, colorful coral and all types and colors of fish while snorkeling. The crew was very friendly and offered a great (optional) intro for us first timers before we got in the water. Gear was in excellent condition and wet suits, noodles and life belts were offered free of charge. The lunch was good and so were the cocktails provided after snorkeling. We even won a prize for the trivia game we played. All 3 generations in our group loved it and would do it again!

Lahaina Semi-Submersible Glass Bottom Boat Adventure - Maui Reefdancer [CLOSED]
A fun time!

This was a really fun little boat tour. Seeing the fish and sea life through the big windows was so cool. The boat ride wasn’t too long so it was the perfect activity to take our toddler on. The only thing I would caution others about this tour is sea sickness. The rocking of the boat can really be felt underneath it and can definitely make you feel sea sick. It’s probably not a good activity for people that have a tendency to get sea sick, although their staff is super outgoing and helpful to anyone feeling sick during the ride.

I was on a vacation to Maui with friends and we did a day trip to Lanai using this ferry service. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable during the ride. It was whale season, so we saw many whales during the crossing. The ferry left promptly on time and the captain ensured that we were well informed the entire journey. Highly recommend!

This was a good sunset sail. The sunset was a little cloudy, but we didn’t mind. The crew were all nice. I don’t think there was anything exceptional or spectacular about it, it was a pretty good time but not the best ever. Apps were typical catamaran level snacks- not anything fancy. But we enjoyed seeing the whales!

Sat on the top deck and got the trio of a lifetime! We saw 2 whales swimming under and around the boat, and then it happened AGAIN! We saw many whales and a super unique and lucky experience! The crew was awesome, loved the option to sit on 1st or 2nd level- just don’t forget sunscreen like I did. I would do it again!

Skyline Eco-Adventure - Kaanapali Zipline Adventure with Expert Local Guides
One of a kind life experience

Manny and Eddie were super heros on the day we went. Manny drove us through one of the hardest trails I have ever seen - he got us there safe and even though it was super scary he remained calm the whole time.
Eddie was the life of the party, he made us feel comfortable and kept us laughing.
The fact that it rained on us and we still got to experience the 8 lines just made the experience more special. The views and the feeling you experience once you launch while the wind glided across your face is worth every penny. My hubby is not a fan of heights but after the first one it just got easier and easier, he had zero regrets.
Trust me you need to do this activity but make sure Manny and Eddie are your guides.

I strongly recommend doing it! Funny narrator and crew- adds to the experience. Other than cute little coral fishes- we came to the surface and there was a pod of dolphins swimming next to our shuttle boat! The captain was kind enough to go slowly so we all could enjoy this "after party"! Must do experience, unless you are in the Navy, how often would you be in a sub?

Overall the tour was great. We hit all of the major stops and the guide offered to take us to additional stops along the way. Was an incredible and breathtaking trip! Only one star off since the driver was a bit overzealous about being punctual. I completely understand (and appreciate!) the need for the group members to be on time; however, the stern tone from the guide at 7:01AM for a 7AM pick up was a bit of a rough start to the day. Nevertheless, would recommend this trip to anyone.

Quinn was a guide and he was so cool. He took us on the long road around not just to Hana and back. We saw so much and he slowed down or stopped whenever he could for photo ops. The sights were indescribable and seemed to be unlimited! It was a long but full day!

Maui All Stars Stargazing Tour & Haleakala National Park Sunset Experience
Amazing tour despite weather conditions

My girlfriend and I got to enjoy a private tour by Yoshi up Haleakalā, and I’ve rarely encountered a tour guide with such love for his profession and adopted home. Unfortunately it was very cloudy so we couldn’t see the stars, but Yoshi took us to a great pizza place and we chatted for several hours and learned so much about Japan and Maui. We will be back next time we’re in Maui and we will make sure it’s during the summer months for better weather conditions. I would strongly recommend taking a tour with him (and when given the option go for ice cream), as he will work so hard to ensure you have the greatest time.
Also don’t be too worried about it being cold, it was around 45F when we were there, and at least for me I was fine in a t-shirt.

Wailea Water Bike Tour at Makena Bay - Surf Cycling Hawaii [Beginner Friendly]
Fun way to spend the morning

Great way to spend a morning on the beautiful blue water of Wailea. We saw turtles swimming around us, whales off in the distance, and held a pencil urchin. The guys that run this are so nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them.
