Everyone should consider going on this trip. It's a lovely trip on a large boat with a crew and captain who really love what they do and love Maui and everything there is there. Maui is magical and having the opportunity to share it with people who truly care about it is such a fantastic experience. Do it!! You will not regret it :)

The dolphin tours were booked so we can watch dolphins. Boy did I spend 500$ for that which got wasted as we did not spot a single one. Very disappointed. My kids were so excited to watch dolphin and we could not. I would not recommend this service to anyone ever.

We had so much fun during our Lanai trip. We saw whales, and dolphins on the way there and our way back to the harbor. The snorkeling was great and the staff were so caring and knowledgeable! The lunch was also a highlight for me, I wasn’t expecting such a nice spread. I cannot recommend it enough, it was truly worth it.

What a wonderful way to spend the day!
The entire staff was AMAZING - they all worked together like a well oiled machine! Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
Snorkeling was so much fun!
Good food, there was something for everyone!
Captain Andrew’s jokes WERE funny!
Perfect for all levels, lifeguards in water and on the boat making sure everyone was safe.
Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Really great captain and naturalist staff. The boat ride was enjoyable and we saw several whales. The snorkeling was beautiful. They have staff on surf boards setting up a safety perimeter. We really enjoyed this trip! We would definitely book again if we return to Maui.

The experience was fantastic! We saw dolphins and whales on our way to the snorkeling destination. We saw sea turtles, colorful coral and all types and colors of fish while snorkeling. The crew was very friendly and offered a great (optional) intro for us first timers before we got in the water. Gear was in excellent condition and wet suits, noodles and life belts were offered free of charge. The lunch was good and so were the cocktails provided after snorkeling. We even won a prize for the trivia game we played. All 3 generations in our group loved it and would do it again!

The experience was good. We saw both whales and dolphins. The unfortunate thing was that they overbooked the boat and there wasn’t seats available for everyone on deck. Being forced to sit in the crew area below and not hear the captain’s commentary had a way of making you feel unwelcome. However, we did get to do the activities and saw wonderful marine life.

I couldn’t experience more, than I had on our boat trip to Lanai
It’s perfect size of boat if you want to see views without other passengers heads in front of you, actually hear interesting and fun stories from captain and feel close to water.
We saw so many dolphins, colorful fish, turtles and learned a lot about these islands. As a bonus I got stung by a jelly fish, but I’ll take it as a very unique experience lol
If you’re very picky about food, bring your own, but for me it wasn’t important at that moment. They have different drinks and water, so nothing to worry about.
Both captains are super friendly and knew what they do.

Pros:
Friendly and helpful crew members, and great communication from the captain when we encountered some dolphins.
I enjoyed the pulled pork for the lunch. Very fresh.
The snorkels they provided were way better than what you get at ABC stores for $10. Very easy to breath with, and I never got water inside the snorkel.
They provided great floatation devices. Noodles and belts. Made it easy to focus on watching the under-water world.
Cons:
Too much time spent on the way. I would like to spent ~30min more in the water.
Tips:
Bring your own disinfectant wipes to further clean the snorkel if you are concerned.
You can rent a GoPro on the boat to take video/photos under water. I tried water-proof bag with my cellphone, but it didn't work well.

Unbelievable Experience

This half-day snorkel adventure was one to remember! Not only did we see schools of beautiful fish at each reef, we were able to swim with sea turtles at the second location. As we were leaving, pods of spinner dolphins surrounded us which was a once in a lifetime experience. The captain and her first mate were friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, and had a fantastic sense of humor! The lunch that was provided was also outstanding! I would HIGHLY recommend this trip to anyone!!!!

Best trip we’ve ever taken on Maui!

Captain Cary and Shannon are a mighty crew of 2! Cary is a good Texas boy who has lived on Maui for many years… But that Texas hospitality shines through! The man is packed with personality, and genuinely loves his job. He and Shannon both shared so many fun facts and interesting details during our trip. They packed lunch and breakfast for everyone which were outstanding and could not have been friendlier nicer or more accommodating the entire time start to finish! When our original destination was less than ideal he explained to the passengers why it would be in our best interest to go someplace else and he was exactly right! I’ve never encountered more knowledgeable or happy go lucky and fun loving captain. The boat is small so you will have lots of time to interact with Cary and Shannon and he will get more time in the water than on any other cruise. They know where to look for all the things you want to see… You will not be disappointed. If you only book one thing on Maui book this charter!!!

We loved the whole experience of learning about Lanai, getting to see a pod of spinner dolphins, snorkeling in two locations (one that had a bunch of sea turtles), and getting great service with food and beverages throughout! Captain Kiwi and Alison were great- entertained us, taught us things, and made sure we had fun while being safe!

Snorkeling was good...ride and time on boat was not good.

Snorkeling was good. However, I felt like we spent more time on the boat than in the water. There was also a lot of information giving on the way to Lanai. However, I don't understand the need to keep everyone on the boat and do another 30 minute talk on the mic while we're all dying in the sun waiting to get in the water. Then we're excused to go in the water and another 30 minutes or more go by before you can get in the water because everyone is now in line to put their gear on and get in. It's very time consuming.
The 30 minutes of talking on the mic once we're docked was a bit much and over the top.
I don't feel the customer or their interests were a priority.

Great boat, great team, great vibe. Our entire group loved our experience and would highly recommend it. The snorkeling was really good, but the team on the boat from the Captain to everyone else in their roles were all super fun. The kids loved the slide and the platform to jump off. This was a very time. The guides were a little stiff at first but loosened up enough for all to enjoy it. The sights were fantasitc as was the snorkling. We saw 2 species of dolphins and many whales. The snorkling was great. The raft has a toliet so that too was a plus.
