Reviewed by: Lynn H, 2017/10/31We were really looking forward to the trip. When we got there we sat for quite awhile waiting for late people and people running back and forth to their car. I know this is not the tour company’s fault but annoying still. As we set off it started to rain. This turned into one of the worst rain storms the island had in years. Flash floods and power outages etc. The tour probably should have been cut short but they did bring hot coffee and ponchos which was great. Lunch was good and the guides giggles and Troy tried to make the best of things. I would have really enjoyed doing this when it wasn’t pouring

Second time just as fun as the first!
Reviewed by: Hula Girl NYC, 2017/10/24Although this was my second time on this tour, it was my friend's first tubing experience and we both loved it just the same! It is such a relaxing and fun time, and the guides are simply wonderful. They are not only fountains of knowledge, but so very personable and helpful as well. Just being able to sit back and enjoy the scenery, the dark tunnels and the occasional "rapids" was some of the most fun we had on Kauai. Bring your GoPros and just sit back and float!

Reviewed by: Blando, 2017/10/14We have tubed the Platte River in Casper Wyoming, , the Kern River in California and now have a completely different tubing experience gliding down the irrigation canals on the Old Sugar Plantation. Our guides were informative of the area had a great sense of humor and kept us entertained. We will definitely do this again on our next visit to the island

Kayak Fun
Reviewed by: Bruce Cariker, 2017/09/20We had a great time. The hiking was great, the waterfall was gorgeous, and the water was a great temperature. While reasonably experienced kayakers, we had a little trouble keeping up with the rest of the kayakers on the upriver return, due to being older and out of shape. Dillon (our guide) did a great job of making this an enjoyable adventure. Due to a camera mishap, the pics he took of us and shared are the only ones we have of this adventure. Thanks, Dillon.

Totally worth it!!!
Reviewed by: Rich Hancock, 2017/06/23A lot of planned/guided activities on Kauai are dependent on weather. It's a beautiful island to visit but weather can make it challenging. This was one adventure we will definitely do each time we come to Kauai. It wasn't affected by weather and the guides made it a really cool day. I recommend this to anyone. Request "the evil twin ". lol.

Would not recommend for families with children
Reviewed by: Anonymous , 2017/06/03I took this tour with my 8 year old and I wouldn't call this the highlight of our trip. I consider both of us in fairly good shape, and kayaking up Wailua was still quite challenging, especially with the wind. The tour guide seemed to be in a hurry so it added to the stress. The hiking part was quite difficult with rocks, roots, steep climbs and descents. Here again, our tour guide rushed through the forest, not even waiting for some of the slower group members. The "scrumptious" advertised lunch was awful - a stale deli sandwich and a pre-packaged cookie. The waterfall was the only redeeming moment of this tour. All in all, unless you're an adventurous young couple in good shape, I would not recommend this tour.

Great Adventure
Reviewed by: David & Family, 2017/04/21Highly recommend this tubing adventure. Our guides Johnny and Kai were amazing story tellers and hosts. For a 71 year old husband and wife and family of 20 and 30 year old's this was one of the high lights of our trip on Kauai. We were also surprised and was the rest of the tour group to have witnessed the long fabled Ditch Monster. Fleeting it was but seen non the less. The picnic at the end, while short in duration was a good end to the adventure.

Fun, relaxing trip

Great time!
Reviewed by: Trevor, 2017/04/17The kayaking part was nice, not too difficult. The hike was a nice hike, not quite a casual walk down a straight path but also not too difficult. I enjoyed having our guide Jesse there to explain things to us as we hiked, he was a good guide. He got stuck talking to just one individual of our group a few times and it was hard to hear what he was saying sometimes. The waterfall was nice, there were a lot of boulders in the water so be careful! Lots of other people from other tours on the same path made it a bit crowded.

A Great Day
Reviewed by: Kevin, 2016/11/11Had a great time with this activity. The kayaking was fun and leisurely; the hike a comfortable jaunt; the falls isolated and beautiful. Go early to reduce the number of visiting groups at the falls, and ask if you can have Jamie as your guide...he was really great. Not a tasking activity if the weather is moderate...if it's hot or wet, it could pose a different sort of adventure.
