忘れられない感動

迫りくるナ・パリ・コーストは迫力以外の何物でもなく、映像で見るものとは
比べられないくらい大迫力でした。
夕陽を見ながらの帰港も心が満たされる時間でした。
キャプテンをはじめ、クルーの皆さんはとても親切で
英語が話せない自分も彼らの気遣いで緊張しないで過ごせました。
お食事もタコスとアルコール飲み放題で満足です。

ジュラシックパークを見て以来いつかはきたいと思っていたナパリコースト。妄想が膨らみすぎてガッカリだった。一緒に参加した娘たちは大はしゃぎでとても楽しかったみたいです。クルーの方もとても親切でよかったです。

米国の女性（相撲取りくらいのサイズ）が、波が強くて転び、足の先から血が出てしまった際の、乗組員（沖縄４世）のてきぱきとした対応が素晴らしかった。（波でヨットが揺れながらの対応）

ナパリコーストの眺めは最高で。一度みる価値ありです。
私的には何度かハワイのサンセットクルーズの経験ありますがマウイ島のサンセットクルーズでクジラやイルカを見たのが凄すぎて船内にはウクレレで
生演奏しながら EZの曲でそれには
及ばないけどナパリコーストみるだけなら最高な
クルーズでした。

大自然、美しい海と夕陽を堪能できました。

途中少し雨に降られましたが、切り立った断崖や、洞窟の入り口まで船が入り、大自然に圧倒されました。遠くに鯨の尾びれが水面に舞うのも見れました。帰路につく中、海に沈む夕陽を見ながらもうすぐ港という時に、最後に流れた曲がLet it be、思わずジーンときました。船長もクルーも皆さんフレンドリーです。自分は運転しなければならなかったので、ビールが飲めなくて残念でした。駐車場は、夜は暗くて人気が少ないので、社内に貴重品を残さないように。

親切なクルーによる楽しい時間

ポートアーレン事務所集合15:00でしたが、少し早めの14:30に建物の奥の「Holo Holo Charters」の看板の駐車場に停めます。
割と車が多いので、早めに駐車して良かったです。
集合前に、事務所でチェックイン。
タッチパネルで「同意書」にサインし、集合時間まで、近くのショップをウロウロ。
トイレは事務所の裏にあります。
時間になり、事務所前の広場で集合し船長さんが名前を呼ぶので、返事をします。
点呼が終わったら、港へ。乗船する前に靴入れに靴を脱いで専用の裸足になります。
ビーチサンダルで行き正解でした。
早めに乗船した人は、船の後ろへ
私達は間に合わず、中のテーブルがある席に座りましたが、結果食事の際など便利。途中移動できるので、景色の十分楽しみます。
出発してすぐに、アルコールやソフトドリンク、クラッカーとチーズなどのサービス。
ナパリコーストまでどんどん移動します。
目の前に広がる船から見るナパリコースト❗️景圧巻の景色でした。
帰りに夕食(タコスでした)を食べながら、戻ります。クッキーも配られました。
(紙皿ジプロックにいれて、持って帰る人もいました)その間中、フリードリンクです。
トイレも2つあり、安心して飲めます。
イルカは見れませんでしたが、5月だったのにクジラを数回見る事が出来ラッキーでした。
サンセットもこの日は雲の邪魔なく、本当に素晴らしかったです。
カウアイ島での良い思い出になりました。
港に戻ったのは、19:30頃。4時間くらい乗ってます。ずっと走っているのて、揺れるので船酔いが心配な人は、薬を飲んだ方が良いと思います。
屋根のある船の中は寒くありませんが、走っているので景色を見る時に、薄手のウインドブレーカーは必ず持っていく事をオススメします。
日焼けも必要な方はいるかも。
日本人は私達だけで、全て英語でしたがクルーの方2名がとても親切で、サービスもよくとっても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

日本には絶対ない雄大な景色を堪能しました。

レンタカーで集合場所（集合時間15時）に向かったのですが、港に向かって右側に事務所がある建物、その先すぐに広い駐車場があるので、そこに駐車してOK。事務所で画面に表示された当日の健康状態確認事項（すべて英語表記です）にチェックを入れて受付完了。15時10分船長さんが現れ、１組ずつ名前が呼ばれて全員集合を確認し、注意事項を英語で説明して港へ。私達以外に、もう1組日本人家族が参加していましたが、他の12,3組程度の方はすべて外国の方でした。乗船前に靴を脱いで裸足になり、靴置き場に預けます。（自分で持って乗る人もいました。）
15時30分出航。スタッフは船長さんを含めて3名（男性2名・女性1名）です。最初は曇っていて、海の遠方では、雨が降っているのが見えて、天気がどうなるか心配しましたが、ナパリコーストに向かう途中でどんどん晴れてきました。行きに飲み物と軽食（チーズやクラッカー等）を頂きながらクルーズを楽しみ、1時間ほど進むといよいよ断崖絶壁の山が見えてきます。
そこからは、日本にはない絶景をこれでもか！というくらい楽しめます。約1時間ほどでナパリコーストの端に到着（途中ポイント・ポイントで船の速度を落として景色を堪能します）してUターン。戻る途中、絶壁が削れていて少し洞窟みたいなっている所に船を慎重に入れて楽しみます。また、ウミガメがたくさん居る所を案内してくれて、2匹水面に現れて見ることができました。18時頃、夕食を食べました。（ご飯、おかず、結構種類がありました。）また、イルカにも会えて、水面から飛び上がり、くるくる回転して歓迎してくれました。
いよいよ19時ちょっと過ぎに、海面に夕日が沈む瞬間を、皆でカウントダウンして、日没の瞬間に拍手！！（希望者にはシャンペンで乾杯！）その後、空が夕焼けから夜に向かう色の変化に感動し、19時30分、無事港に到着し解散となりました。
船長さんは運転しながら、マイクで所々説明をしてくれ、残りの2名のスタッフは、フレンドリーに話しかけてくれたり、カメラのシャッターを押してくれたり、とても親切でした。私は帰りに車を運転しなければならなかったので、アルコールは飲めませんでしたが、他の方はまさに「飲み放題！」
最高のひと時でした。

カウアイ島に10日間の滞在の3日目に参加させてもらいましたが、
初めてカウアイ島に行く人はぜひ参加すべき！

ほぼ一日遊べてクタクタになりますが、
充実感と思い出作り、インスタ映えにも最適！

・感想 / 気に入ったところ
ーとにかく楽しかった。カウアイ島に初めて行く人は絶対に行くべき！
　夫婦で大はしゃぎでした。

ー洞窟のほぼ入り口まで行き停まってくれるので、写真もゆっくり撮れます
　し、クルーの方が積極的に撮ってくれます。僕らの時は、洞窟、イルカ、断
　崖絶壁、サンセットタイムの4回、10-15分ほど停泊して撮影できました。

ーあの圧巻の断崖絶壁を観れたのは最高でした。そして、運よく10-20頭のイルカの群れにも囲まれたのも最高でした。

・アドバイス
ークルーザーの先端に座らせてもらいましょう。めちゃ楽しいです。

ーそして、とにかくズブ濡れになります！ので、上下含めて濡れてもよい格好にした方がいいです。顔もビシャビシャになるので、メイクにも気をつけて。濡れても染みないリュックにタオルを入れていった方がいいです。

ー焼けたくない人は、クルーザーの中にずっと入っているか、長袖マストの帽子も紐付きをオススメ。サングラスは全員マストでしょう。

ーツアーはフル英語で何を言ってるか分からないですが、特段必要な会話はジェスチャーで通じるのでご安心を。

ー朝9時くらい？に出発の戻りが18時か19時頃でした。
　帰ってきたらお店回りもほぼ閉まっていて、薄暗かったです。
　車の停車場所はお忘れなく。

夫婦二人で参加させてもらいました。英語が分からず他に日本からの参加者も居ないようで不安でしたが、スタッフの方海外から参加された方が、とても気さくに優しく接してくれて楽しく過ごせました、飲み物も美味しく、雄大なナパリ・コーストの風景に圧倒されました！夕日も綺麗で、本当に楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。ただ残念だったのは、イルカとクジラに会いたかったなという事です。機会があればまた参加したいです！✌️

夕日がとても綺麗でした

ナパリ・コーストまではけっこうスピード出して進みます。波もあるので船酔いになりました。
船で移動中はイルカの群と遭遇し、船を停めてウオッチングさせてもらえました。
イルカは何度もジャンプしながら側転もしてくれて楽しませてくれました。
夕日も素晴らしかったです。
また、鯨のウオッチングもできました。
行きはクラッカー、チーズ等軽食のビッフェがあり、夕食にチキン、チャーハン、パスタ、サラダ等のビッフェがありました。味も美味しかったです。
スタッフの方も笑顔で対応もよかったです。

ナパリコーストサンセットディナークルーズ

新型コロナ前に行けた最後のハワイ旅行でカウアイ島のナパリコーストを見るクルーズ行ってきました。
前々日は、Veltraさんで予約したヘリコプターで上から眺めましたが、全く違う表情を見せてくれます。
前日は、車でナパリコーストへ地上から眺めました。
空や山頂からの眺めとは違い、船で下から見上げる切り立った海岸線は迫力満点。途中野生ぽいヤギが崖の上にいたり、虹が見えたり水が滴るところへ船を寄せて水浴びできたり印象的なクルーズでした。最後に美しい夕日を眺めながらの夕食を食べましたが、眺めが素晴らしく夕食の印象は残っていません。
この旅行で一番楽しめたツアーでした。
空に車に船と3回ナパリコーストへ向かい色々な視点から楽しみました。
日本人は、自分たち家族だけで、雰囲気も楽しめました。

We took the sunset cruise with Lui and Jason and it was awesome. They both were super informative and friendly, the history was very cool, and the drinks were fantastic! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to do a laid back sunset cruise on Kauai.

The cruise was very relaxing and had beautiful scenery. The captain Louie and first mate/ bartender Jason were awesome. So friendly and knowledgeable. During the cruise Louie told us a lot of history. Jason made great drinks and had good conversation about Kauai. We cruised through the bay and down the river. The boat was very clean and well maintained. The only negative is that I would have liked to go down the coastline more but that’s always weather and wave depending. I would do this cruise again.

I thought I already submitted my review but I’ll do it again. Louis our Captain was very fun and knowledgeable. Jason was fun and made amazing drinks. The views were breathtaking. Something different and unique to do that was affordable on the island. I have been to the island many times but have never seen the river like this. Fun movie sites and historic landmarks. Would do it again for sure!!

Relaxing Ride

There were four of us that did this cruise together. It was very relaxing and beautiful scenery the Caption Louie and first mate / bartender Jason were very personable and knowledgeable. They had a good variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks that were served freely during the whole cruise. I would recommend this cruise however keep in mind they only go down the river and in the bay. They do not go along the coastline. If you are looking for smooth and relaxing river boat ride then you would enjoy this cruise.

Perfect evening!

We had a group of 4 people and it was a small group on board. The boat is clean and beautiful. Louis our Captain,was very knowledgeable about the history and pointed out very cool sites along the way down the river.
Jason,his crew member was very friendly and made excellent cocktails!! Both guys made our trip memorable and the beauty of Kauai was amazing. The instructions on the description through this website were a little confusing We thought we had a shore entry. They actually drive you from the Check in spot to the port. Just a few minutes away. No big deal. But a little confusing. Would definitely recommend.

朝から快晴で、日焼けが心配なぐらいの中、午後からの出航でした。日本人は、いえアジア人は私と妹の二人だけでしたが、キャプテン以下クルーの方たちのおもてなしはgood!!ところが、ナパリコーストに近づくにつれ雲行きが怪しくなり、まるでジェットコースターのような・・・。そんな中、そんなお天気だからこそでしょうか、水面からくっきりと虹が。しかもダブルレインボー、感激でした！！天候が急変することもあるようですので、酔い止め、ウィンドーブレイカ―のご用意をお勧めします。

We had a fantastic time. Ian, Jeremy and Kama did a wonderful job and took great care of us. The scenery was amazing, and they filled us in on some history of the area. We even got to see some whales breach, accompanied by spinner Dolphins!. Great trip and would recommend to anyone. Holo Holo did a first class job!

We had a great time on the sunset cruise! It had of course had great views, the captain stopped a couple times to let us watch some whales playing! The staff, Ian, Jason and Colin were helpful and friendly; the waters were a little rough, so they really showed our concern for our safety and comfort. The drinks, appetizers and sandwiches were all very good, very fresh. I would highly recommend this excursion!

3.5-Hour Kauai Napali Sunset Dinner Cruise with Open Bar - Holo Holo Charters

My wife and I knew we wanted to do a boat tour of the Napali Coast but with all the options available we were nervous about picking the right one. Let me save anyone else looking into this the trouble and say just book the Sunset Cruise with Holo Holo Charters. You won't regret it, unless you get sea sick, which I would say probably 3-5 people out of 25-30 or so did on our trip, which was in early/mid May. But the crew took great care of them. My wife and I popped a dramamine each about an hour before we boarded and another right when we got on and felt great.

More about the trip. The crew and Captain Glenn were fantastic. They opened up the bar immediately upon leaving port and made sure we had drinks in our hand for the duration of the trip. The boat was spacious and there was plenty of room to move around. We were able to see the entire coast and even made it up to the northern most tip where the last beach accessible by car starts. I don't think many of the other boats are able to do that because they are not fast enough. The crew was probably the best part of the trip, they were super attentive, even offering to take pictures of us with the coast as a back drop. They were also very interesting to talk to and gave us lots of information about what we were seeing as well as info on local spots to check out when we got off the boat. My wife and I had hiked the Awawapuhi trail earlier that morning, which overlooks the coast, and the crew were nice enough to point out where we were to us as we cruised by. Awesome trail by the way if you like hiking. The crew also made sure you didn't wipe out while you were walking around the boat, it can get a bit choppy. At one point I was exiting the bathroom as we hit a dip and a member of the crew was able to grab me and steady me before I took a tumble.

In a nutshell, book the trip and don't have second thoughts about it. Worth every bit of the money. Holo Holo Charters does an amazing job.

Our wonderful trip to the Na Pali Coast

We had the best trip you can get to the Napali Coast! The weather did it's best to blow away the clouds, but also made the sea rough so we got lots of fun in the waves and went wet in the front of the boat. After half an hour we were completely soaked and decided to go to the back were it is almost dry. There you also have a god view but it is rather bumpy than on the front of the boat. We had a nice and sunny view along the coastline of Kauai. Compared to our trips by helicopter and car the boat trip is the most relaxing way to see the coast and for us the most impressive. The height of the cliffs of Na Pali Coast is best seen from the bottom. From up in the air you'll get a great overview but you wouldn't see the whole scenery. The buffet on board was well organized and we had some delicious snacks on our tour. The crew took very good care of us all along the trip and offered very often to take pictures of us in the beautiful scenery. Nearby the harbor we made an additional stop to watch out for wales and turtles which are often seen on that place. Unfortunately we didn't find any turtle or wale but a lot of flying fish. The beautiful sunset with a glass of champagne was the right ending of a beautiful day on sea. MAHALO to Capt. Kelly and the crew Aaron, Jake and Max!
