ハワイらしさ満喫。

ﾚﾝﾀｶｰで現地まで行きました。駐車場はﾙｱｳ受付でﾊﾝｺを押してもらって、５ドルですみました。
ｼｮｰが始まる前には、ｺｺﾅｯﾂの解体ｼｮｰみたいなのとか、葉っぱのｸﾗﾌﾄ作りとか、ﾌｧｲｱｰﾀﾞﾝｽのﾊﾞﾄﾝを回す練習とか色々体験ｺｰﾅｰなどもありました。
たまたま隣の席に座ったアメリカ人の方たちとも、カタコトな英語でお話したり･･･
あ~外国にきた！ハワイに来た！って思えた時間でした♪

コナ散策のついでに寄ってみる
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2009/05/30このルアウショーはカイルアコナの中心地で開催されており便利だな~と思い参加しました。１７：００にチェックインですが、ここコナの中心地にはオアフでは珍しくないＡＢＣストアもあり、買出し含め参加しました。早めに到着し、地元の学生？のカヌーチームの練習などを見た後、会場へ。
ルアウショーはワイキキで何度か参加しているのですが、このルアウショーのいいところは、自然の中で繰り広げらるところじゃないかと思います。タヒチアンダンス、ハワイアンフラ、フィジーダンスとサモアンなダンスそしてファイアーダンスなんでもござれです。コストパファーマンスも良いショーだと思います。

野生のイルカウォッチング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜朝食・昼食付き＞
海亀に会えました！
Reviewed by: うーた, 2009/05/12クルーズに出発して15分くらいで、すでにイルカの群れに遭遇！シュノーケルスポットでは、たくさんの熱帯魚の他、海亀まで見ることができました。
日本語が話せるスタッフはいないので、すべて英語でしたが、なんとかなりました。
日本人は私たちを含めて2組のみ。食事も結構美味しかったです。
泳ぎが苦手な人には、フロートやライフジャケットもあるので安心です。視力が悪い人のために、度付きのシュノーケルのマスクもあり、快適でした。
帰りのクルーズでは水着が濡れているので寒く感じると思います。大き目のタオルか、羽織るものを持っていくことをお勧めします。

Ocean Sports Kohala Coast Snorkel Cruise with Lunch and Open Bar
Go Snorkeling
Reviewed by: Gary, 2009/03/30The Snorkel Cruise was one of our top two activities. We very much enjoyed the cruise out to the Black Sand Beach. We saw some whales along the route. We enjoyed the snorkeling even more. This was our first ocean snorkeling cruise experience. We had snorkeled a little bit over the years but no where with as much color and marine life. Highly recommended whether you have snorkeled or not. The staff is very helpful and seem to enjoy their job. (if you can call that a job). Makes it a great experience. Very convenient launch from the Waikoloa Marriot. Very nice for us because that is where we stayed. Others were shuttled there and I am sure that was no problem either. Nice activity. Would do again.

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2009/03/18ハワイに旅行に来たなら、一度は体験するといいと思います。ウォータースポーツや買い物は他の場所でもできますが、こういうショーはハワイ独特のものなので。言葉の問題だけでなく、すべての手続きやしきりがアメリカ人向けにできていましたが、楽しめました。お料理もショーも満足しました。価格を上げてもいいから、レイや写真はその場でお金を出して買うのでなく、参加費に含まれているとよかったです。プレゼントされる気分を味わいたかったので。

ハワイを感じました

天候が不安でしたが入場（入場すると雨でも返金しないそうです）席は自由ですが中央席は予約席で埋まっています（最後まで予約札が有るが多くは埋まらなかった）客はほとんど外人ですが違和感が有りません、入場すると各自飲み物をカウンターの酒ビン、ボール内より注いで飲み放題（写真のようなサンプルカクテルは無い）食事前のセレモニーカルーアピック(豚の蒸し焼き）を皆で輪になり見学、食事をビユッフェスタイルで席ごとに開始、料理はスムースに取れた料理内容の説明書は無く内容的にはローカル色がありおいしかった、
たいまつ点火でショーの開始、ダンスはハワイアン、タヒチアンなど客の参加ショーもふんだんに取り入れ特に進行役（日本人には無い感覚）がショーの盛り上げがうまく英語は分からないが面白いショーでした。

This was our first trip to the Big Island for our 20th anniversary, so we were trying to pack in a wide variety of activities. A Luau was almost a must on the list of things to do. We were not sure what to expect, but the experience was one we wouldn't have wanted to miss. Very well done by everyone involved. Mahalo!

宿泊ホテルでの開催でしたので、集合も、終わってから部屋へ戻るのもとても便利でした。
食事の前にあちこちで参加型のイベント（葉っぱで魚を作ったり、ココナツの実を割るのを見たり）があり楽しい。
フラや、タヒチアンダンスやファイアーダンス等等、色々な種類のダンスも楽しめ、とてもよかったです。
食事は…ブッフェですが最初だけテーブルごとに取りに行くので、多人数でも混乱なく進みました。
家族みんな満足してよかったです。

Fun Evening
Reviewed by: Cynthia, 2009/01/04Food was very good and it was helpful that they explained all the items on the buffet for those not familiar with Luau fare. The show was very well done and we had fun doing the activities at the beginning. Only downside is they do all the activities at the same time (hula lesson, palm weaving, etc.) so you can only do one. Also, if you're expecting a flower lei be prepared to pay extra for it or bring your own. We got ours at Costco, they sell a 2 pack of fresh orchid leis for only $6.50. Overall, a very fun evening right on the beach.

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/12/29Food and show was good. But, we would like to have some more interaction with audiences to perform Luau dance. We were expecting atleast that during the course of performances. Though it was done as brief introductory on Luau dance before the show began but it would be nice if we could participate as family then it would be very very more vibrant live show where family, friends, kids everybody can enjoy and have fun. This is a small request if they can spend some time during their main course of performance on this.
Other than that food, drinks are delicious. Here is a small request if they can put name tag in front of the each of the dish / item so people who are verigiterian / non-vegiterian can pickup their food selection very easily and can avoid un-necessary waist on the food. Though the organizer anounced the all the food items but by putting a name tag for food items that are served on that day would not cost any more.

We took this whale watch trip, and I must say this was by far the most enjoyable sailing trip we did in Hawaii. Being Discovery Channel lovers, we were so excited to see the real whales in front of us! We can't wait to go back there someday. Five stars!

海はきれいです！
Reviewed by: SATOKO, 2008/11/1111月ということもあり、気温が低く水が冷たかったですが、海はきれいで魚もたくさん見れて楽しかったです。
朝食も昼食もほどよくおいしくて満足でした。
ただ日本語はほとんどというかまったく通じないので、英語が話せる方だともっと楽しめるのかもしれません。
イルカにも遭遇することはなく、なにも説明されることはないので、ただぼ~とボートに乗っているだけです。
今度は暖かい時期にいきたいです。

アフタヌーン・シュノーケル・クルーズ
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2008/10/23送迎付のシュノーケルクルーズを探していてこちらのツアーに申し込みました(送迎はジャックスハワイの車でした)。
参加したアフタヌーンクルーズは参加者が少なかったので船上ではゆったり過ごせましたし、泳ぐ時にはクルーの人がとても親切に怖がる母親達の面倒を見てくれて助かりました。
イルカは湾に帰る際クルーの人が見つけて船を止めてくれましたが私達には良く見えませんでした。でも海も綺麗で色とりどりの魚を見れたので全員が喜んでいました。
船の設備も綺麗で気持ちよく使えて良かったです♪

Fun for kids
Reviewed by: Jane, 2008/09/29This was a pleasant outing and particularly enjoyable for kids. If you think you might get seasick, I would recommend you take a ginger capsule before you go. Looking down into the water can make you a little queezy. Very informative and was helpful to have someone describing what you see.

Reviewed by: あんじー, 2008/09/23席ですが並んだ順に案内されるので、デスクでチケット引き換え後に屋外のルアウ会場前のプレートが出ているところに並ぶといいです。並んでいるとあっという間に列が長くなっていました。
（通常席と、ハノハノ席の2種類の列があります）。
ダンスはハワイアン、タヒチアン、マオリ、サモアなど一通りあります。
残念だったのは、席に案内後に特にアクティビティの案内が無かったことです。先に料金が高いハノハノ席を案内したあとにあるのかな？と思っていたのですが結局無く、様子を見に行った頃にはもう終わりがけでフラレッスンにも、ヤシの葉クラフトにも参加できませんでした（この間もステージでは何かやっています）。
でも星空の下でのショーはとても気持ちのいいものでした。お料理もけっこうおいしかったです。

First the pre-luau activities were fun, ( my granddaughter tried a little hula and I learned how to open a coconut without power tools ) . The cocktails were very tasty . Kona Glassbottom Boat & Guided Coral Reef Tour with Marine Naturalist
Non snorkelers - don't miss out!
Reviewed by: JK, 2008/09/21I don't know how to swim, and no way would I try snorkeling without even knowing how to float, so this was right up my alley. The staff was engaging and funny and knew a lot about the fish that we saw. We floated over several clusters of coral and although I didn't see anything as cool as a dolphin or manta ray, I did see a variety of exotic fish I had never known outside of an aquarium. Sadly, it's a quick 1 hour because you're so focused on looking at the windows that you lose track of time.
I don't recommend taking tons of pictures like someone here suggested, only because the fish move so fast that you'd probably get bad shots anyway and secondly, you really want to enjoy this uninterrupted without a contraption mounted to your face. Maybe take a snapshot of the first reef so you can tell people "I experienced this," then put the camera away for good.

目の前で見るルアウショー
Reviewed by: ウッチー, 2008/09/07家族旅行の最後の夕食で、ルアウショーを楽しみました。以前に見たポリネシア文化センターのイブニングショーと比べ、少人数でコンパクトなショーでしたが、舞台が目前にあって迫力ある踊りを楽しみました。また、食事も期待以上においしく食べることができ満足しました。英米圏の新婚カップルが何組か来ており、司会者の紹介でダンスを楽しんでいました。欧米の人は、本当に楽しそうに逐一司会者の呼びかけの反応しており、自分ももっと英語のコミュニケーションが取れるようになりたいと感じました。
今回は、サウスコハラのホテルから、レンタカーでカイルアコナへ出かけ、ショッピングセンターの駐車場に車を置いて、コナ街中を散策した後、ルアウショーを見ました。道に迷うこともなく、参加することができほっとしました。

ポリネシアンミュージックとダンスと料理のフルコース
Reviewed by: MARUKO, 2008/08/29家族4人で参加しました。ロケーションはホテルのプライベートビーチで、参加者は２００人程でした。ほとんどが欧米からの観光客で日本人は少なかったです。席は先着順で私達は開園直前に行ったので後ろの席しか空いていませんでした。当然前の方の席ほどダンスの迫力が違います。私達は小さな子供達がいたので結果的に後ろの方の席で広いスペースでのんびりとできてよかったです。
ダンスの前にディナー（ビュッフェ形式）があります。品数は豊富でポリネシアン料理がたくさんあって全種類食べるのには日本人の男性では厳しい方もいると思います。魚介類の料理もあってハワイの食文化を堪能できます。日本と決定的に違うのは、欧米人の方は1回で大量に取って2回目以降をとりに行く人が少ないので、1回のとる量が少量の日本人にとっては後で食べようと思っていた料理が無くなっていることもあります。ちなみに料理の補充はありません。お酒もフリードリンクですが、ショーが始まるとバーカウンターも閉じてしまうので、料理の前にお酒は好きなだけ飲んでおいて下さい。
ダンスショーはハワイのフラダンスショーONLYではなく、ポリネシア圏の様々な形のダンスを音楽を交えて披露してくれます。日本語の説明は一切ありませんが、かえって異文化に包まれている雰囲気が高まり楽しめます。
火の女神ペレが住む島ハワイ島での素敵な一晩になりますよ。

I'm pretty sure there are people who don't like certain foods, but hey, you are experience something different, right? I liked poi, though not too many people tried it. Overall, it was a great experience.
