Reviewed by: S Hall, 2007/08/11The staff was a bit cranky at check in but once things got rolling, I think they woke up and all was good. I enjoyed the snorkle site but the sea cave exploration is little more than "here is the cave, it's not really deep, next please"......overall I had a good time but felt I paid too much for what I got. If you have never been kayaking in Hawaii and want to, then I would have no problem recommending this outfit. I just think you may get more value from a less green more motorized adventure.

Kona Manta Ray Snorkel & Night Dive Tour at Keauhou Bay - Sea Paradise
an experience of a lifetime!

You are probably five minutes off the shore by the sheraton resort and are left to swim with huge manta rays that swim right up next to you. It is a little scary at first but after the first few minutes you get used to it. The staff on the boat are very friendly and pretty humorous. You definitly get your moneys worth on this activity because you are in the water for about 45 minutes and they dont let you get in until a manta ray shows up so your time with the manta rays isnt wasted. The only bad things I have to say about this activity which was kind of a personal problem was that I got stung in the butt my something. It hurt pretty bad but the stinging went away in about a hour. I dont think anyone else had this problem though so I wouldnt be too worried about it. I would definitly sign up for this activity is I was you!

What an experience!!
Reviewed by: ashley, 2007/07/23Parasailing in Hawaii was my first time ever and it was quite an adventure. You get amazing views and I got to be in the air with my hubby for ten minutes. On the down side, I was expecting this activity to be my faviorite activity that we signed up for but in the end it wasent on the top of my list. Don't get me wrong, if you have never done this before than I would highly recommend it but if you have already expereienced parasailing than I would spend my money on something else. I think that I might do this again in the future but only if it is not too pricy.

I was pleasently surprised!!!!!!!!!
Reviewed by: ashley, 2007/07/23I was at first a little hesitant to do this activity because I thought that I wasnt going to enjoy it very much but it ended up being me and my boyfriend's faviorite activity that we did! This activity is definitly worth the money that you pay. Not only do you kayak in beautiful clear water, but you get to jump off a 30 ft rock, go into a cave, and snorkel. What more can you ask for??? Everything about this activity was fun and I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Hawaii. Now that I know how much fun kayaking is I plan on doing it in the future. This is a must do!!

Big Island Spectacular Circle Island Helicopter Flight with Landing Option
Like being on the moon
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2007/07/05Our pilot was friendly, very personable with each one of us. I loved how he used our names as if we already had knowledge of what he was about to share with us. That was a fun way to learn. Amazing how large this volcano is!! Later in the day we drove from Hilo down to the area so we could touch the lava in person. Felt like we were on another planet. Lava and desolation for as far as we could see. Thanks for this experience. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters are the BEST!!! Awesome pilot and staff!!

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises

Jay & I had taken a similar tour in Kauai last summer. We were expecting a similar activity this time, but were pleasantly surprised to find that it was so much more. The catamaran was so much nicer, the snorkeling was wonderful, the crew was so attentive to our every need and the food was great also. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely do the same thing the next time we are on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was also great that the departure place was only a five minute walk from the resort where we were staying. The crew was very helpful in instructing us as to where to snorkel and find the most fish. My husband got some great pictures with his underwater camera. The boat was not over crowded. The weather turned out to be beautiful that day. I would also like to mention that the ages of the four of us range from 65 to 73. We had no problem maneuvering aro

Kilauea Volcano Doors-Off Helicopter Tour from Hilo [Not Operating]

Reviewed by: Linda Miller, 2007/06/10We parasailed during our visit to Kona. My 14-year-old twin sons participated while I observed from the boat. The staff was very professional and even joked with one of my sons who was extremely nervous, setting him at ease before his ride. The ride fulfilled their expectations to the fullest - they wanted to go back up immediately! Pictures were offered - I purchased them but haven't had an opportunity to develop them yet as we just returned home. Didn't really care for the sales pitch of t-shirts, visors, etc. at the end of the ride. As the boys were incredibly excited, I didn't want to disappoint them. I was "encouraged" to spend an additional $75 for t-shirts, which of course, I did. Overall, I would repeat the experience if the opportunity represents itself again!

集合場所が変更になっていました
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2007/05/11集合場所は「ラスト・チャンス・ストア」ではなく、そこより半マイルほど手前の「ATV（…だったかな？）」ナントカという牧場に変更になっていました。
当日、「ラスト・チャンス・ストア」前に、指定時間前にたどり着いてスタッフの方を待っていたのですが、時間を過ぎても、他の参加者らしき人もスタッフらしき人も現れませんでしたので、心配になり「ラスト・チャンス・ストア」のお店の方に、下手な英語で聞いてみたところ、集合場所が変更になった、とのことでした。
半マイルほど手前のナントカというというところ…（聞き取れなかった）ということで道を戻ってみたのですが、それらしい場所が分からず、もう一度「ラスト・チャンス・ストア」に戻ってみたところ、次の回に参加されるらしい日本人のファミリーの方が来て、一緒にもう一度お店の方によく聞いて、また来た道を戻りました。
よーく道のわきを見ていたら、看板を見つけましたが、普通に走っていたら見落としそうでした。
とっくに予約の回の時間は過ぎていましたが、スタッフの女性（カウガール風ですてきな方でした）に下手な英語で事情を説明して（先方も何か謝って？おられましたが）、次の回に参加できることになりました。
牧場は広々していて気持ち良く、人なつこい犬と遊んで待っていました。
渓谷はすばらしかったですが、滝が全然落ちていないのが残念でした。（滝が見られる時期というのは決まっているのでしょうか？）また、海岸まで出てくれるのかなと思っていたのですが、わりと狭い範囲をひとまわりしただけで、海岸へは出なかったのが残念でした。
ガイドは全部英語で、あまり理解できませんでしたが、明るい女性のガイドの方のお話は楽しそうだったので、理解できたら楽しさも増えただろうなぁと思います。

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour & Tropical Waterfalls Sightseeing from Hilo

Reviewed by: Brad Handy, 2007/04/18Polynesian Adventure Tours has very knowledgeable staff members. They share information freely during the tour, which is a great asset in learning more about Hawai'ian history and the volcanoes specifically.
The only problem my wife and I had was how much talking went on. While the information was welcome at times, it seemed the talking never stopped. For some this may be perfect, but it was a little overwhelming/annoying for us.
Overall, the tour went well and the sites were spectacular.

ハワイ島の広さを実感！
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2007/03/24ワイコロアのホテルからピックアップしてもらい、確約は出来ないと言われていましたが事前に直接メールでお願いしていた唯一の日本人パイロット（望月さん）の操縦するヘリコプターに乗せていただき、望月氏が同乗のアメリカ人カップルと我々に2カ国語で交互に説明して下さったのでとても楽しかったです。
ヘリコプターは初体験でしたが、震動もなく足下までガラス張りなので、キラウエア火山では海に流れ落ちる溶岩を見ることが出来、広大なパーカー牧場では放牧されている牛たちがまるで点のように小さいのがおかしく、ワイピオバレーでは800ｍの絶壁の上にあった小学校が津波の被害にあった話に驚き、落差1000ｍもあるという滝のすぐ近くまで寄ってくださるなど雄大な自然を堪能できました。
ワイコロアは乾燥地帯で溶岩の茶色い土地ばかりですが、ヒロに近くなると突然の雨で緑も多くハワイ島の広さと気候の違いなど素晴らしい体験を短時間で出来ました！（車で周遊するのは1日掛かりですよね）
また、帰りには数十分待ちますが、ヘリコプターに搭載されていた当日のビデオを購入することも出来ます。

思ったより物足りなくて残念

高さ600ｍの渓谷の急勾配を、４WDでゆっくり降りていくので全然ドキドキ感はありません。また先日の地震の影響で現在、滝は一本も水が落ちていません。
そして紹介写真のように川の道を馬車でジャブジャブ行くことも無く、楽しみにしていたので「あれっ？！」って感じ。
ツアーはあっと言う間で、特に感動も歓喜をあげる場面もなく、ワイコロアから往復2時間半かけて行ったのに残念。
初ハワイ島でワイピオバレーに行ったことのない人にはいいかも。大自然の景色は美しいです。

離船、着船ともに子供でも年配の方でも無理なく行えるスピードですし、着水の可能性も100%ないといって良いと思います。順番を待っているとき船はそれなりのスピードで航行していましたので上に揚がったらさぞかし風を感じるのかと思いきや、方向を変えるとき、着船のためワイヤーを巻き上げられるときに少し感じる程度で、殆ど無風です。空間にただ浮いているという感じでした。また何といってもその静寂さにはビックリです。自分は一人で乗ったので本当に外界の音を含め一切の音のない世界でした。たった10分間でしたがそんな時間を体験をしてみるのもたまには良いのではないでしょうか。

ナチュラルジャングルクルーズでした！
Reviewed by: こうたろう, 2007/01/12ワイピオバレーへのツアーは絶対ハワイ島に訪れたらトライすべしです。ツアー出発のピックアップからツアー終了まで、驚きが目白押し。それはそれは楽しくて、楽しくて。馬車にのってのんびりと村を回り、自然の話や、歴史をガイドの方が説明してくださいます。タイムトリップをしたかのような、楽しい不思議な体験ができますよぉ~。 すこし蚊がいますので、虫除けスプレーまたは、長袖長ズボンが必要ですよ。

ちょっとワイルドな乗り心地です

受付場所がちょっと分かりにくくて遅刻気味になってしまいました。
一緒に参加した別の家族（ロスアンジェルスから来た米国人）もやはり遅刻してきました。
主催者によるとほとんどの参加者が迷ってしまうそうです。案内図の書き方に改善の余地があるのかもしれません。
ワゴンツアーですが、ワゴンに乗っているよりも、現地までの車に乗っている時間のほうが長いくらいです。非常に狭い急坂を車で進むので結構スリルを味わえます。
ワゴンのほうも荒地を走りますので、乗り心地はワイルドです。
でも、決して危ないことはありません。小川をワゴンで渡るのは、このツアーならではの体験です。
日本語でのガイドはありませんので、英語がまったく出来ないとちょっと困るかもしれません。
私の場合は、私が通訳しましたので、特段の問題はありませんでした。

席（大人８ドル）を予約しようとしたら、sold out. でも４：４５の集合
のところ、４：２０から４：３０くらいまでに、ホテルをでた海岸沿いの小道
の左側に並ぶ（右側はハノハノ席）と良い席につけるといわれ、そうすると
舞台前のハノハノ席のすぐ後ろでした。入場時に貝のレイ（ただ）をくれました。
マイタイやビールなどは飲み放題です。タトゥーややしの葉でお魚を造って
楽しんだ後、カルーアピッグを取り出したり、海から王が入場してくるのを
見たりした後、お食事タイム（ポイやハウピアなどのハワイアンな食べ物もあり
で、お腹いっぱいでした。ショーはハワイ、ＮＺ,タヒチのダンス、サモアの
ファイアーダンス（子供に大受け！）など見応えありました。
観客参加型でチークダンスや、それぞれの国の挨拶を大声で叫んだり、
隣のひととロミロミマッサージしたりと楽しめます。
日本人は少なくお隣はポートランドから来たアメリカ人家族でしたが、
仲良くなれましたよ。外人さん達と一緒にノリノリで楽しみましょう！

あっというまの時間でした！

絶対に体験したかったのがルアウ！オアフより離島かな~と思い、このツアーに参加しました。
思ったより、盛りだくさんで、いろいろなものを体験したかったので、あっというまに過ぎてしまいました。
まず、生レイを彼に買ってもらって、記念撮影！（買わなくてもシェルレイが全員もらえます。）
席に案内されると、男性陣はすぐに席を立ってドリンクをゲットしにドリンクバーへ。
その間に同じテーブルになった人たちとごあいさつ。
そしていろいろな催し物がある広場へ・・・。
まずは、うでにtatoo風ペイントをしてもらいました。私は大好きなホヌをリクエスト！
そしてすでに横で始まっていたフラレッスンに途中参加。
ざっとですが、1曲振り付けを教えてもらいました。
ココナッツの割り方を教えてもらったり、ラウハラで何か編んだり（参加してなかったので何を作っていたのかわかりません。）そうかと思えばディナーのメインでもある、カルアピッグ（豚を丸ごと蒸し焼きしたもの）の姿を見せてくれたり。
とにかく、暇がない！！
そして、日が暮れかかった頃、海岸からカメハメハを載せたカヌーがやってきた。
ここからショーの始まり。
席に戻って、料理を取りにいくと、ステージではいろいろな国のダンスが披露された。
