WOW!
Reviewed by: Irwin Ohana (Family), 2019/02/17Jim Carey is an outstanding and knowledgeable guide who wove Hawaiian folklore, geology and local current events into an experience that we (ages 12 to 72) all enjoyed. We had a nice small group (just seven of us) which allowed Jim to go a little off script and pack a lot of experiences into our day. The transportation van was comfortable but be ready for a long drive because Jim really covers the Big Island. From the lava flows in Kona to Hilo to Kilauea, there was a lot of ground covered. The gourmet dinner of organic and locally grown steaks, fish and produce was exceptional. Don't even get me started on the dessert. We are still talking about it. The stargazing was a spectacular finish to the day.
Thank you Jim for an unforgettable experience.

場所まで行かなければならなかったですが
パブリックパーキングが判り辛く、かなり焦り
ましたので事前のチェックが必要です。
ツアーの内容は予想以上に近くでクジラを
見る事が出来て大変良かったです。
ただし、船はかなり揺れますので、船酔いの
心配な方はそれなりに準備した方が良いと思います。

Fabulous time under the Stars!
Reviewed by: Travelooza, 2019/02/07We enjoyed it a lot. We wish we had gone earlier in our trip so we would’ve had the opportunity to build other activities around what we saw on this trip. James runs this business on his own and he does a lot of research and individualizes each trip to the current conditions of the atmosphere and weather. The photos he took of us were amazing. I could see couples booking this for engagement, honeymoon or anniversary photos. The star gazing was the highlight. We see stars from our house very well but it doesn’t even compare to the clarity of the sky at that altitude. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

ブリッジングはみられず・・が、親子クジラに会えてよかった
Reviewed by: もりぞう, 2019/02/06夫と二人で参加しました。期待していたブリッジングには遭遇できませんでしたが（ただ遭遇率はあまり高くないとのこと）、親子クジラに出会えました！（マウイ島のほうがみられるんでしょうか？？）
送迎はスムーズで、朝一にひとつアクティビティを体験でき、そのあとの一日をたっぷり使えますしよいスケジュールだと思います。乗客みんなで「何時方向にいる！」と見つけあい、潮吹きやしっぽたたきを楽しみました。ツアー船長が（英語ですが）クジラの生態について説明してくれました。乗客のいろいろな質問にも答えてくれて、学びになりました。いつかまた参加して、ぜひブリッジングを見てみたいです！

Twilight Volcano Tour with Stargazing, Black Sand Beach & Coffee Farm
Amazing Value!
Reviewed by: Atlanta Couple, 2019/02/04Let me start off by saying I had a pretty low expectation for the meals when I saw they were included. The food was really great—chef made lunch and delicious beef ribs at dinner. I’m still dreaming about them. That alone provides so much value for the price.
Now, onto the tour—Keith was an amazing tour guide! He started off by learning and continually speaking to each of us individually by name. He had the greatest stories at AND between each tour stop. We really enjoyed the tour from start to finish and almost forgot how long of a day it was! And for the stargazing, we lucked out with a beautiful clear sky and Keith was knowledgeable about not only the stars we were seeing, but so much beyond that!

Ocean Encounters Manta Ray Snorkel Tour - Sunset & Moonlight Cruise from Kona
Disappointing trip!

We assumed it would be in front of the SheratonKona and were disappointed it was at the secondary location. We saw one manta Ray for about three seconds and that was it. I would highly recommend going to one that is in front of the SheratonKona because we got back to our hotel and we could see them from the restaurant there!

伝統ルアウ＆フラ・ハワイアンショー レジェンズ・オブ・ハワイ（ヒルトンワイコロアビレッジ）＜日・火・金催行／ブッフェ夕食／飲み放題＞
初ハワイ初日の晩餐に。

初日にハワイらしさを味わおうとこちらを予約しました。
ブッフェ形式で、はじめは多少混みますが少し待てば大丈夫。
アヒポケが美味しかったです。
飲み物はブッフェ台の並び奥とステージに向かって右側と２箇所にありますが、夕陽が沈む頃にステージ右の飲み物カウンターの前をさらに奥に進むと素晴らしい夕陽が見られます。（そしてその辺りに灰皿もあります。）
全体的には少々お高いかな？と思ったので★３つ。
日本にいる時の感覚では１万円するかしないか位だと思いました。

安全快適！

熔岩の流れはストップしてましたが、その分、火口にもぐんと近付け、海から見る岸壁も火山島そのもの、同乗したカナダ人家族と一緒に大感激したのでした。

Kohala Sunset Whale Watching Cruise with Open Bar - Ocean Sports [Dec - Mar]
Pretty decent, saw whales
Reviewed by: Alex, 2019/01/28Not a big boat and it was a bit cramped but we had a great time with the open bar. The pupus were limited to fruit, veggies, sweet rolls, and some ham and cheese rolls.
Note: You'll have to walk into the ocean for a few feet to board so be prepared to take off shoes.

Kohala Whale Watching Tour by Ocean Sports | Kids 0-5 Ride for Free [Dec - Mar]
Absolutely worth the price, good for all ages!
Reviewed by: Alyssa Romeo, 2019/01/18Obviously the tour does not summon the whales at their leisure, but we saw honestly 10+ whales (maybe some of the same ones) over a period of an hour and a half and it was incredible. I have so many photos that I can’t wait to post on social. Regardless of actually seeing the whales, the tour was not only educational but it was a smooth ride, very fun and friendly and we even used a hydro microphone that picked up the whales talking to eachother around us. It was nothing I’ve ever heard before, they are so loud!! I would recommend the early trip for any older folks (we took my grandma who is 78) and/or any easily motion sick people. Overall completely worth the price and waking up “early” on vacation.

ハワイ島 ケアラケクア湾シュノーケリングツアー 滑り台や飛び込み台完備の船で行く！＜午前・午後／英語ガイド／食事付＞by フェアウィンド号
きれいでしたよ
Reviewed by: はるを, 2019/01/15直近の申し込みだったためか、前日までのリコンファームができなかったのに問題なく参加できました。
ケアウホウを出港してケアラケクア湾まで4-50分かかります。その間にフィンとマスクを配ってくれます。
多くの人が浮き輪やフロート（貸し出し）を着けてシュノーケルしていました。4才と8才連れだったので、大きなビート板（水中みられる窓つき）を貸してもらえました。陽がかげっていたので寒かったため途中で船に上がりましたが、最後までスライダーを楽しむ外国人をみたり、それはそれで楽しめました。
行きの船ではプレッツェルとジュースが1階のギャレーで提供され、帰りにはフルーツが追加されます。クルーが2階にも配りに来てくれます。
英語がいまいちな我々にもクルーはややコミュニケーションをとろうとしてくれました。

Ocean Sports Kohala Coast Snorkel Cruise with Lunch and Open Bar
If you're gonna do a snorkel cruise, do this one
Reviewed by: Christina, 2019/01/08This was THE COOLEST snorkel excursion. First they picked us up from our hotel, RAD. They have a marine biologist on board that taught us a lot about the creatures we'd be seeing and the ecosystem which was fascinating. The area they took us to was a gorgeous reef and we saw some amazing fish and sea creatures. The marine biologist was even diving for starfish that he showed everyone and let us pet while we were in the water. We got a good hour and a half of snorkeling and then it was time for a tasty sandwich bar lunch. On the way back was, yes what you've all been waiting for, an OPEN BAR. Those were the best drinks I got on the island. It was awesome, big shout out to the amazing crew.

まじ，やばい！

クルーの方は，こちらが日本人だと分かると，簡単な日本語（立って，座って，ここ掴まって・・・等）を使ってくださって，楽しく参加できました。
飛び立つ時は，デッキに座って身を任せます。
帰着するときは，流れに身を任せて，頃合いを見計らってデッキに立ち上がるようにします。
海上１００メートル以上の世界は，本当に静寂で，ハワイ島の大自然と雄大な海原に，ただただ感動しました。
帰着時に，着水しなければ，水着でなくても大丈夫ですが，ぼちゃーんとしそうな人は，どうぞ，水着でお越し下さい。

ローションがとてもよかった！
Reviewed by: とりこ, 2019/01/06体験談にあったように、5時過ぎに受付にいったらすごい行列でした。受付の後にレイの購入と写真撮影があり、それに時間がかかっていたようです。
席は満席でした。ご飯が前の席から順にとのことで、後の席だったのでご飯がなくなるかとドキドキしましたが、どんどん足してくれていたので、たっぷり食べられました。豚を葉っぱで蒸した料理やデザートがおいしかったです。
夕暮れ時のハーバーとコナの景色が最高で素敵でした！！ルアウも、カヒコ、フラ、タヒチアン、ファイヤーものなど満載。ただ、子供は疲れて途中で寝てしまいましたが、子供もご飯は満足していました。楽しかったです。

ワイピオ渓谷 乗馬ツアー ＜午前・午後／英語ガイド＞ by ワイピオ・オン・ホースバック
癒やされます

4人ともほぼ初めての乗馬でしたが、馬はよく調教されていて不安なことはありませんでした。
ワイピオ渓谷の谷底を、馬の背に揺られながらの散歩です。豊かな水と緑が印象的な、静謐さをたたえた場所でした。
以下、参考になれば。
・集合場所〜ワイピオ渓谷の谷底を4WDで往復します。これにかなり時間がかかります。
おおよそのタイムスケジュールは、13:30集合で谷底へ移動、14:15から乗馬、15:45乗馬終了、16:15集合場所で解散。
・日本人は私たちだけで、他は全員アメリカ本土からの参加でした。
・私たちはレンタカーを借りて集合場所まで行くつもりでしたが、ハワイ島へ着いてからホテルで予約しようとしたら、1月3日までハワイ島ではレンタカーが1台もないと言われました。
仕方なく往復タクシーを使い、カイルア・コナから400ドル強かかりました。
レンタカーは日本から予約して行くべきでした。

英語のツアーでしたが無事にホエールウォッチングを楽しめました。

【船に乗るまで】
時間になったらホテルのフロントまで小型バスが迎えに来てくれました。
ワイコロアから程近い海に降ろされ「終わったらここに戻ってきてね。それと船に乗る前に同意書は向こうで書いてね。」と言われ、砂浜にある海の家(?)に向かいます。タブレットのような機械で電子サインを済ませ10分ほど待つと小さな船が来たので乗りました。
沖より少し手前で小さな船から大きな船に移ります。
日本人参加者は私達2人だけでした。
【ホエールウォッチング体験】
船の席は自由です。英語ツアーなので私は何を言っているかはちんぷんかんぷんでした（笑）。
また船は揺れるので立ち上がってクジラの写真を撮る際は、皆立つのでしっかりロープや手すりにつかまってください。
遠かったですが4〜5回クジラの潮吹きを見ることができ、クジラの反り返りの低いジャンプも見ることができました。ハワイ島の大自然を感じられた瞬間で貴重な体験でした。
クルーも親切なお兄ちゃんでした。「クジラは毎日ほぼ見れるよ！イルカはたまに。ここよりもコナの方がいるよ。」とのこと。クルーのお兄ちゃんに船でクジラに大接近してる画像を見せてもらい、大迫力すぎて驚きました。自然相手なのでクジラに会えるor会えないは運ですが、こういうラッキーな日もあるんだなぁと思いました。ちなみに、私達2人は船酔いせずに済みました。
【ホエールウォッチングを終えて】
9:30頃船から降りて、また小さい船に移動し砂浜へ戻ります。行きに乗ったバスに乗り込み、無事にホテルのフロントに到着し無事にツアー終了となりました☆
ホエールウォッチングは初めての経験だったので、参加してよかったです！またクジラを待ってる間はクルージングとして楽しみましたよ。遠くの方にマウナケア等の山が見えて美しい海岸も見ることができ優雅な時間でした。
