Simply Amazing!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2007/07/27Having grown up in Hawaii, I have grown very fond of Mauna Kea and it is definitely my favorite place to be. This trip, though pricey, is well worth the expense. When will you ever see both the North Star and Southern Cross in one place? And when will you ever feel like you can just reach out and touch the stars. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions and concerns. This is by far the best tour I have ever taken on the Hawaiian islands. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique adventure or anyone interested in the stars!

UFO Parasail Adventure - Best Kona Parasailing Tour
What an experience!!
Reviewed by: ashley, 2007/07/23Parasailing in Hawaii was my first time ever and it was quite an adventure. You get amazing views and I got to be in the air with my hubby for ten minutes. On the down side, I was expecting this activity to be my faviorite activity that we signed up for but in the end it wasent on the top of my list. Don't get me wrong, if you have never done this before than I would highly recommend it but if you have already expereienced parasailing than I would spend my money on something else. I think that I might do this again in the future but only if it is not too pricy.

Mona Kea trip is wild.
Reviewed by: Dale Spady, 2007/07/06The drive up the volcano is "trip" in itself. The steep, winding, narrow road with a shear dropoff on the side is a pulse pounder. Be ready for the thin atmosphere at the top. Overall, it was an exciting and very unique experience that I would recommend to all adults.

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises

Reviewed by: Dee Baumgardner, 2007/06/28My friend Nancy and I purchased this tour on the Fair Wind as a Father's Day gift for our husbands, Jay & Jim. Jay & I had taken a similar tour in Kauai last summer. We were expecting a similar activity this time, but were pleasantly surprised to find that it was so much more. The catamaran was so much nicer, the snorkeling was wonderful, the crew was so attentive to our every need and the food was great also. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely do the same thing the next time we are on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was also great that the departure place was only a five minute walk from the resort where we were staying. The crew was very helpful in instructing us as to where to snorkel and find the most fish. My husband got some great pictures with his underwater camera. The boat was not over crowded. The weather turned out to be beautiful that day. I would also like to mention that the ages of the four of us range from 65 to 73. We had no problem maneuvering aro

UFO Parasail Adventure - Best Kona Parasailing Tour

Reviewed by: Linda Miller, 2007/06/10We parasailed during our visit to Kona. My 14-year-old twin sons participated while I observed from the boat. The staff was very professional and even joked with one of my sons who was extremely nervous, setting him at ease before his ride. The ride fulfilled their expectations to the fullest - they wanted to go back up immediately! Pictures were offered - I purchased them but haven't had an opportunity to develop them yet as we just returned home. Didn't really care for the sales pitch of t-shirts, visors, etc. at the end of the ride. As the boys were incredibly excited, I didn't want to disappoint them. I was "encouraged" to spend an additional $75 for t-shirts, which of course, I did. Overall, I would repeat the experience if the opportunity represents itself again!

Trip to Top of Mona Kea
Reviewed by: Carolyn S. Nelson, 2007/04/26Over many years of taking tours, I have seen many tour guides. However Buck Pelley ranks at the top of the stack. He is incredibly knowledgeable on such topics as geology, astronomy, plant life, and the history of the area. I hope that Buck remains as a tour guide. I would take another tour with him anytime anywhere.
The only thing that I would improve on the tour is the dinner. Although I understand the challenge of bringing food to the top of Mona Kea, the fish could have been hotter with a lot less salt. While the soup was good it was barely warm. Cookies were excellent

離船、着船ともに子供でも年配の方でも無理なく行えるスピードですし、着水の可能性も100%ないといって良いと思います。順番を待っているとき船はそれなりのスピードで航行していましたので上に揚がったらさぞかし風を感じるのかと思いきや、方向を変えるとき、着船のためワイヤーを巻き上げられるときに少し感じる程度で、殆ど無風です。空間にただ浮いているという感じでした。また何といってもその静寂さにはビックリです。自分は一人で乗ったので本当に外界の音を含め一切の音のない世界でした。たった10分間でしたがそんな時間を体験をしてみるのもたまには良いのではないでしょうか。

席（大人８ドル）を予約しようとしたら、sold out. でも４：４５の集合
のところ、４：２０から４：３０くらいまでに、ホテルをでた海岸沿いの小道
の左側に並ぶ（右側はハノハノ席）と良い席につけるといわれ、そうすると
舞台前のハノハノ席のすぐ後ろでした。入場時に貝のレイ（ただ）をくれました。
マイタイやビールなどは飲み放題です。タトゥーややしの葉でお魚を造って
楽しんだ後、カルーアピッグを取り出したり、海から王が入場してくるのを
見たりした後、お食事タイム（ポイやハウピアなどのハワイアンな食べ物もあり
で、お腹いっぱいでした。ショーはハワイ、ＮＺ,タヒチのダンス、サモアの
ファイアーダンス（子供に大受け！）など見応えありました。
観客参加型でチークダンスや、それぞれの国の挨拶を大声で叫んだり、
隣のひととロミロミマッサージしたりと楽しめます。
日本人は少なくお隣はポートランドから来たアメリカ人家族でしたが、
仲良くなれましたよ。外人さん達と一緒にノリノリで楽しみましょう！

あっというまの時間でした！

絶対に体験したかったのがルアウ！オアフより離島かな~と思い、このツアーに参加しました。
思ったより、盛りだくさんで、いろいろなものを体験したかったので、あっというまに過ぎてしまいました。
まず、生レイを彼に買ってもらって、記念撮影！（買わなくてもシェルレイが全員もらえます。）
席に案内されると、男性陣はすぐに席を立ってドリンクをゲットしにドリンクバーへ。
その間に同じテーブルになった人たちとごあいさつ。
そしていろいろな催し物がある広場へ・・・。
まずは、うでにtatoo風ペイントをしてもらいました。私は大好きなホヌをリクエスト！
そしてすでに横で始まっていたフラレッスンに途中参加。
ざっとですが、1曲振り付けを教えてもらいました。
ココナッツの割り方を教えてもらったり、ラウハラで何か編んだり（参加してなかったので何を作っていたのかわかりません。）そうかと思えばディナーのメインでもある、カルアピッグ（豚を丸ごと蒸し焼きしたもの）の姿を見せてくれたり。
とにかく、暇がない！！
そして、日が暮れかかった頃、海岸からカメハメハを載せたカヌーがやってきた。
ここからショーの始まり。
席に戻って、料理を取りにいくと、ステージではいろいろな国のダンスが披露された。
同じテーブルになったカリフォルニアからの新婚さんともお話できたし、とても楽しい夜でした。

ハワイを満喫

英語に慣れていないせいか、よく分からないうちに始まってしまった感がありましたが、キングの出現にはかなり感動しました。
他のディナーショーでは味わえない儀式的なフラを体験することが出来ました。
来ている方々皆さんとてもフレンドリーなのに英語を話せないばかりに愛想笑顔のみ。もっと楽しむには英語力が必要のようです。
料理は・・・・まぁ普通かな。コナコーヒーがいっぱい飲めてうれしかったですけど

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2006/10/18ハワイ島に着いた初日に参加。コナ空港でレンタカーを借りてすぐに集合地に向かい１３時につき準備をして１４時に乗船できました。雨がふっていましたが、シュノーケルできました。乗船して１時間後、キャプテンクックの記念碑のそばでかなり深い場所でした。天気が悪かったので水中カメラで撮ったものはあまり写っていませんが、肉眼で魚を見ることができました。軽食というだけあって、パイナップルとオレンジ、ポテトチップスと飲み物がでました。飲み物は有料メニューがあるのかないのか不明でしたが、適当に頼んだらだしてもらえます。このツアーに日本人は私達しかいませんでした。スタッフも日本語が話せる人もいません。外国のパティーにでもきたような位、乗船中は外国人が楽しそうに談話してます。

ハワイらしいショーと言えば♪！
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2006/10/03やっぱりハワイに行ったら、ダンスショーを楽しまなきゃ！って思いましたね。ただ英語がわからないと寂しい思いもします。座る場所はホストが教えてくれます。その後はどうして良いか判らず座っていると勿体ない！。フリードリンクを取って来て飲んでも良し、ショーの前にココナツの剥き方や、タトゥー、ヤシの葉で作るエンゼルフィッシュ，フラダンスの仕方など２カ所に別れてやっているので、英語がわからずとも座っていないでどんどん見て回ると良いです。
ビュッフェタイプの食事もテーブル事に案内してくれるので、まっていれば良いだけ！。
料理はそれも美味しくて、日本人好みにしたんじゃないか！って位口に合います。それを食べても美味しいです！。ダンスも楽しいし、海の香りと波の音も爽やかで、いい気分でした~。
ただコナには珍しく雨が降ってきました。これがちょっと残念！。

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2006/09/28今回はじめてハワイ島に行きケアラケクア湾シュノーケリングに参加しました。ガイドブックなどには午前中のほうがいいとかいてありましたが、私が参加したのは午後のツアーでしたが、じゅうぶん楽しめました。クルーは全て外人なのでやや言葉に困るかもしれませんがみななれているので心配は要らないでしょう。のりがよくとてもたのしめました。海もしずかで途中うんがよければ魚もつれるし、シュノーケル中にイルカに出くわすこともあるそうです。残念ながら私が行ったときにはあえませんでしたが。船も快適です。大型のカタマラン船なので船酔いしている人はみかけませんでした。

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2006/09/12フラダンス良かったです。ダンスを習いたくなりました。料理も日本人向けの味付けでおいしかったです。カクテルなど、お酒が飲み放題というのも良心的だと思いました。ワイコロア周辺のホテルから車で向かいましたが、ラッシュの時間帯のようでコナまでに交通渋滞に巻き込まれました。少し余裕を持ってショーに参加したほうがいいと思います。

ハワイ島 アトランティス潜水艦 ハワイの海底アドベンチャー ＜日本語オーディオガイド＞
気軽に出掛けられて魚がいっぱい
Reviewed by: quattro97, 2006/09/09以前グレートバリアリーフで半潜水艇に乗ったことがありますが、沖まで長時間船に揺られて辛かった思い出があります。これに対して、このツアーは桟橋から小型船で出発して10分程度で潜水ポイントに到着。そこで潜水艦に移動した後、潜ってしまえば揺れません。乗り物に弱い人でも大丈夫です。今回シュノーケル等ができない、おじいちゃんおばあちゃん、子供と一緒におしゃべりしながら海底探索できて、みんな喜んでくれました。途中、沈没船があったり、魚の群れに遭遇したり、こんな陸の近くにパラダイスがあるなんてハワイってすごい、という感じです。また、参加時間が120分程度なので、その前後もふつ~に遊べてグッドでした。

野生のイルカウォッチング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜朝食・昼食付き＞
大胆に楽しめます
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2006/08/29２家族で参加しました。英語のツアーなので不安でしたがバウチャーがあれば、受付で困ることはありませんよ。乗船してからもスタッフが優しいので安心でした。船は停泊したのは、水深８Ｍ位のところ。シュノーケルを始めたもののアップアップしてしまい始めは不安でしたが慣れてくるとお魚を見たりちょっと潜ってみたり・・・
子供たちは、船の２Ｆデッキから滑り台で海へ飛び込んだり、デッキ（４~５Ｍ）から海へ飛び込んだり、大胆に遊んでいました。親たちも童心に帰って飛び込んでみたりしちゃいました。
そこでカメラにまつわる２つのエピソードが・・・
その１．友人のご主人は、カメラを持ってデッキからダイビング！！水中から顔を上げるとおでこに血が・・・・カメラが当たってしまったのです。けがは、それほどでもなったのですかカメラが壊れてしまったのです。でもなぜか大笑い・・ここにいると何でも楽しくなってしまいます。
その２．私の夫は、軽快にデッキから階段を下りてきました。ところが最後にツル！
手に持っていたカメラが海のそこへ~~消えていきました。ところが、スタッフのかたが潜ってカメラを探してきてくれたのです。もう大感激でした。ありがとうございました。

野生のイルカウォッチング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜朝食・昼食付き＞
ボディーグルーブのシュノーケルツアーに関して・・・
Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2006/08/23我が家は一番下の子が４歳の女の子から上は１３、１５歳の男の子、そして夫婦で参加いたしました。それなりに楽しめましたよ。月曜だったと言う事なのかよくわかりませんが、参加者は総勢３０名くらいだったかな？朝食のパン類果物類、昼のハムやチーズのサンドウィッチも最後には余る位余裕でした。味の方は私はアメリカらしい大味だな~と思っていましたが、息子は朝食のマフィンを家内は昼食で出た野菜類を痛く気に入っておかわりをしていました。デッキはその人数だと混雑していず、丁度良い感じでした。
出航後、約３０分の航海で目的地に着きシュノーケルをスタートします。案内は英語だけでしたが、安全に関する話が全てだろうと思っていたので、ある程度常識が有ればOKだと思います。注意されたのは「足ひれは海に入る直前まで着けない」の１点で後は特にありませんでした。４歳の娘も顔に水がつくのが嫌いなくせに、ライフジャケットで浮かんでいました。男たち３人は４mくらいの所まで潜って魚たちを見に行きましたが、なにせ、魚影が薄い・・・（この日に限ってのことなのかも？）これが一番の欠点でした。最近のハナウマがどうか知りませんが、大差はないと思います。（ハナウマの様に水は濁ってませんよ）後もう一つありました。船の舵を取ってるおじさんが全く愛想がない。他のクルーはいい人ばかりです（心配なく）。それから船に弱い人は薬は飲んでおいた方が良い場合が有ります。シュノーケル後のハムやチーズのサンドは人に依ってはヘビーかもしれませんから・・でも、また参加したいという気持ちが沸いてきました。
