We've been there.

It's Lanai, there's not much to see. A quick trip around Lanai city then off-road to the dust; we didn't see any rain forest like the picture in the ad. That could be because there's a shortage of water on most of the island! The three hours passed quickly (not four like is advertised) and we left wondering if there was more to see. It definitely is a different perspective of Hawai'i than the more populated islands. If you go there with an open mind and you may enjoy something different; expect a lot and you'll be disappointed. It definitely is unique, but not what we anticipated. At least we can say, "We've been there". I don't recommend a first-timer go there without seeing the other islands first or at least in the same vacation.
