FAQ

Q. What if I am prone to seasickness?
A. You may want to consider taking an over-the-counter motion sickness preventative, such as Dopamine before your cruise if you are worried about sea sickness.
Q. What should I wear to this activity?
A. Comfortable layers of clothing are recommended as weather is sometimes hot, but sometimes cold. Dresses are not recommended due to high winds and having to climb stairs.
Q. How far in advance should I book this activity?
A. We recommend booking at least 3-4 days in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last-minute bookings are often possible, but availability is limited.
Q. Are you required to wear a life jacket?
A. Life jackets are not required to be worn by adults but they are mandatory for children under the age of 12. Life jackets are available throughout the boat in case of emergency.
Q. Will we see whales?
A. Every year Humpback Whales migrate to the warm waters of Hawaii, and although not guaranteed, they are often seen between the months of December and April.
Q. What kind of boat will be used?
A. The Ho'o Nanea is a 40-foot sailing catamaran designed to cut through the water effortlessly, providing a stable and comfortable ride. The boat has a maximum capacity of 19 passengers, but sometimes sails with less, offering an intimate experience for each visitor.
