Excellent sunset and cocktail cruise!
Reviewed by: Sam, 2023/04/14We really enjoyed this laid back and super fun evening. Right after we set sail we saw an enormous sea turtle and several surfers who were fun to watch. Then we enjoyed a couple cocktails made by the crew which were great! Something for everyone including mock tails. We left the kids with family while we’re gone for just over 2 hrs, but school aged and pre-teens would probably really enjoy it as well. (The teens on-board all seemed thoroughly bored lol). We started heading back and a few minutes before sunset we stopped to watch the spectacular colors and views. That alone was completely worth it- it was so beautiful. Highly recommend and completely worth it!

A fun experience with great views of Diamond Head and Waikiki
Reviewed by: Mr. C, 2021/12/09From the moment you step on the pier the staff of Spirit of Aloha was upbeat and fun! We felt welcome and safe but new we were in for a good time. The drinks were simple but tasty and they didn't skimp. The food that was included could have been a little better, simple chicken breast sandwiches on rolls but you're there for a boat ride and booze! Checking in could have also been a little more organized. Overall I definitely recommend this outing on anyone's visit to the island!
A few of the families had a hard time managing their kids so one suggestion I might give to Spirit of Aloha Waikiki Sunset Cruise is hosting at least one adults only, 21+ cruise.

Superb even for solo
Reviewed by: Chris C, 2021/08/22I booked this cruise while staying in Waikiki on a solo trip. The staff and captain are personable and efficient and the catamaran is modern and roomy. We cruised along the coast towards Diamond Head crater and then put the sails up for a jaunty ride in the open sea for about 10 minutes. Captain turned the boat around to enjoy picturesque sunset views and some cool tunes while sipping on the crew members own recipe Turtle Tini. There were a mix of couples and multi generational families and the staff was accommodating to everyone’s needs, even those who were a little green in the gills from sea sickness. Highly recommended, even if you’re by yourself!

Amazing views.
Reviewed by: April , 2021/08/07We had 8 people in our party for the sunset cruise. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. From the captain, the crew and the boat. The views were amazing, the cruise lasted just about 2 hours. The crew really made the entire trip. They were fun, attentive and interactive. The boat had just the right amount of people on it so it didn’t feel crowded. They served food in containers so everything was very sanitary. The cruise comes with 2 free drinks, but if you are generous with your bartender they might just be generous back! It was a great time and I highly recommend this as part of your Waikiki visit.

Relaxed sunset sail!

For drinks, they had cocktails, beer, wine, & non-alcoholic drinks. I really liked the appetizers (chicken, rice, and veggies). It was just the right amount of food to go with the Mai Tais that I had!
This is a docked catamaran. Unlike beach catamarans, you will not have to walk knee-deep in the water to board the boat. You'll be perfectly dry as you board the boat on the pier (as seen in the photo). This makes it a great choice for those who want to dress up a bit for the sunset sail, those traveling with little ones, guests with mobility issues, etc.
I loved that this was conveniently located in WAIKIKI! It's right at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (not to be confused with the Hilton Waikiki - which is a different hotel).

The absolute best time!!!

Everything from the crew, the service, the captain, the food and drinks to the ride was absolutely amazing! Aloha Sunset Waikiki Cruise

Amazing trip!

Such a fun cruise with an amazing crew!

The boat is very nice and spacious and we loved having the net lounge seating to hang out on. The crew was awesome and continued to walk around the whole time checking on guests to see if they needed anything. You get an awesome view of Diamond Head as well as an amazing sunset view, I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful cruise

The staff on the boat were incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them as we sailed along. The drinks and snacks were great, and the best part of all were the breath-taking views, especially watching the sun set! We went with another couple with whom we were traveling, and we all put this activity toward the top of our list of memorable things we did while visiting.

Don't worry if you're the last to board and can't find a seat, once you take off everyone is outside and moving around. No wait at the bar or food table. Friendly crew, and they're more than happy to share their knowledge of the islands.
A light jacket or long sleeve shirt might be needed at sunset.
And don't arrive too early since there is a little wait before boarding.

Exceptional views, drinks, and service!

The service staff was very attentive and would frequently go around the catamaran, refilling drinks and asking if you needed anything. The cruise itself did not take you very far from the pier, and stayed off the Waikiki coast, but still had an excellent view of diamond head and sunset. The appetizers were good, though not very substantial, consisting of chips, salsa, guacamole, salad, pasta salad, veggies, and rolls. Wouldn’t expect to get full from the food. The drinks were great, and basically free-flowing. Overall an excellent cocktail cruise

The catamaran was so cool, there was plenty of room for everyone, the staff was helpful and very friendly, and the views were breathtaking. We even saw a sea turtle at the end! The staff made it so fun and made some pretty good drinks to boot. The appetizers were not great, but that is not why we were on the cruise. It was a relaxing and easy cruise right off the pier and around Diamond Head. The sunset views were beautiful. I would highly recommend taking a sunset Waikiki Sail on the Spirit of Aloha.

Our Sunday night sunset cruise had very few tourists so e could spread out, have the crew take pictures, lounge on the front nets, lots of drinks and great appetizers. We were looking for something unique to do with our parents (70+) on our last night of vacation and this was perfect. Leaves from beachside of Tropics restaurant in the Hilton Hawaiian Village, parking validated. Book now!

Great Sunset Cruise

Nothing was a problem, plus they were also great photographers. The food was delicious & lots of it & the drinks were plentiful. The catamaran was fun especially sitting at the front on the net with the water underneath you. When we arrived back at the pier our shoes were ready sitting in pairs, after they had been locked safely away in a box on the dock until our return. Oh yes & the sunset was beautiful.
